  1. Mark, With the success of the FMC you have created for my home cockpit, may I suggest a similar product for a remote PFD? I was really surprised that there are no good options for Android products, and since yours is a computer based program instead and tie in with the browser, I would be willing to pay double...
  2. Production Supervisor and Aviation Maintenance Manager on US Army helicopters. Ran the Center of Excellence for the OH-58D Kiowa until they decided they were going to retire them. Now I am back to UH-60 A/L/M Blackhawks (my baby and what I crewed while I was in the service) and run multiple programs involving them currently.
  3. OK. As I should have expected and investigated to begin with...it was not Mark's wonderful product that was at fault, but was my overzealous Norton...
  4. Thanks Steve. I had actually taken the plunge already and can say that I love it. The only thing I need to work on is my water. It is just a little too reflective for my tastes. Thank you for all your hard work. The cockpit shadows alone in my NGX (haven't taken my 777 out yet) are worth the cost.
  5. I will try to upload a screenshot when I get home this evening. It states that Http://192.168.1.15:32111 is not available. This is using the Chrome browser.
  6. Having a sudden issue connecting to my note 10.1 since the last update. Are there any known issues or is it me?
  7. All, Are there any specific add on programs that are known not to work? I am so tempted to purchase, but have concerns about GET and UTX. I have seen nothing mentioned either way if they will or will not work. Any first hand experience would be great. Thanks in advance.
  8. Used this for my first flight last night. Awesome tool. Works quickly and efficiently. The only issue I had was remembering to reach for my tablet instead of panning and using the mouse. Thanks for the hard work and reasonable price. I will be sure to purchase the T7 if and when you are able to create it. Thanks, Nick
  9. Not if you still have it installed....

David, The "triangles" you are seeing on the exterior model is the test flight package. You can disable it in the FMC menu. The landing altitude message is telling you that you need to set your landing altitude. Check the FCTM on how to set it properly. Hope this helps. It is not an issue with the aircraft.
  11. Thank you gentlemen for the suggestions and guidance. I will give these suggestions a try when I get done with work today. These helicopters want their TLC too... I do have the HIGHMEMFIX=1 in my config file. I think I have just about every tweak with the exception of the buffer pools (never made me any money it seemed). But thank you, sir.
  12. Pete, Thank you for the quick reply and the advice. I have avoided the dreaded OOM until now apparently. I appreciate the help and will check out the forums for an answer on how to adjust. Thank you again, Nick
  13. I am asking this question here due to the fact that I have too many variables to put it any of the specific forums. Recently I purchased the 777 from PMDG and the supporting voice control from FS2crew. Around the same time I added ASN to my FSX experience. The issue I am having is that upon touchdown at my destination airport (PHNL primarily due to the low strain on my CPU) once the nose wheel touches down I start hearing an audible "bing" from my computer. As I taxi in it eventually causes my session of FSX to crash. I have tried changing the settings to stop this, initially believing it was ASN downloading on landing but have not isolated it. I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue? With the numerous addons and the updates and patches I have no idea where to start. Any help would be appreciated.
  14. What traffic do you use Mike?
  15. Well........that escalated quickly....... I personally would love to buy the new force feedback being developed by Vector I believe but unless someone is donating 800 bucks to my account I will make due with my setup....
  16. Rob just one last suggestion. If you do go the velcro route put the soft side on the desk otherwise your wrists will regret it if you use it for anything else. Memphic I was going to do the same but I would have had to lock down my keyboard tray somehow so it didn't slide out and in every time I input elevator movement. That and I use mine for my keyboard and mouse.
  17. Rob, All I did was mount the yoke to the top of the desk with http://www.walmart.com/ip/Duck-Poster-Putty-Removable-Reusable-Nontoxic-2-oz-Pack-5-Pack/17811787 I rolled the strips into long beads and put them on the underside of the yoke.Place it where you want it and press down on top of the case to seat it. I did it this way for quite a few years and it worked like a champ. But in turn it was hard to remove during the multiple times I had to open it up for repairs. Now I am using 2 inch wide velcro in the same way. A little more permanent but allows me to remove it and put it back quickly.
  18. Ian I have the same issue with my desk. I mounted it on top first with putty for mounting posters and such but replaced it with adhesive backed velcro when I set up my Cessna yoke.
  19. Noel I would try the mod for the elevator axis before you give up hope. Just be aware it does take a little mechanical ability to do it and put it back in correctly. Also, cracking it open does void your warranty if you do plan to return it, so if you try it you will have to get everything back together before returning it. The standard pro flight yoke has the same nylon bushings FYI. If that is a concern.
  20. James, I do believe that the mod contributed to the damage because it removed the spring that provides some restraint from turning the yoke too far left or right. The ultimate cause was a combination of children and my dog bumping into it with themselves or my chair and stressing the link too far. If you don't have the concerns that I have in that happening feel free to purchase the original pro flight yoke since it is a little more budget friendly, but overall even with the roll axis centering still intact for my Cessna pro flight yoke I really do like it more. It could just be new to me but it feels sturdier overall. As for the dual throttle that's a resounding yes. Just make sure you don't buy the second throttle without a USB connection (eBay or Amazon used models) and FSUIPC to program them. Let me know if you have any other questions. -Nick
  21. I had the pro flight yoke for a couple of years but had to repair it a few times after performing the mod mentioned above. The roll axis would stress the plastic linkage and crack it in half rendering the ailerons inop. I decided to go with the Cessna yoke for my replacement and am happy I did. The roll axis deflection is a full 90° left and right as well as a completely different design for the roll that consists of a series of cogs to allow for the extra deflection. I performed the mod once again for the pitch axis and the only centering that it has now is for the roll and I am content with that. Otherwise the overall feel of the yoke is sturdier than the original.
  22. Definitely a 737NG. I would say the 777 but a 737 is a heck of a lot easier to get into most airports. I never get bored in my NGX, but locations I do get bored with...so versatility wins.
  23. I unfortunately had a similar issue using my Logitech G930 Headset. I tried reinstallation as well as the voice training software including reinitializing the software. It ended up being my headset microphone. -Nick Chattaway
