It's most likely than not, we'll be seeing XP11 fully uncloak and a release date announced this weekend, another indication imho to this is XP10 is presently being offered at a discount on the XP website. To garner the attention and grow their user base in the sim community, I only hope they listened to the wants of the community and implement if not all; but some of these wants (weather) while retaining the true nature of physics of flight.

Anyone attending this weekend will be conducting live blogging/facebook/tweeting posting as this special announcement unfolds or live video feed? If so; where can I find this information?

Looking very nice... hoping the XP version is coming along and is not too far behind..

I put X-Life through a series of testing and haven't gotten the CTD with the Deluxe version, but then again I'm only running with HD Global Scenery and Treelines-Farms-North America. I tried the free version on a second system that has tones of addons and got the CTD. Haven't taken the time to decipher my crash log, so I'm not sure what's causing the CTD on my second system, whether it's the free version or its conflicting with one of the many add-ons.

So I just picked up X-Life Deluxe: The X-Life concept IMHO is a wonderful AI and ATC plugin; the lack of discussion or excitement is puzzling, because reading through the forums one of the drawbacks discussed regarding XP is the assumed lack of AI/ATC or a good one thereof, it has a free download option or the Deluxe paid revision. I find the airport coverage map doesn’t cover all the major airports but is constantly getting new additions; hope the developer continue it’s development. Anyone using can further comment on its use, conducting long haul routes?

Is this related to XP-10 or XP-11?

Stock XPL doesn't comes with (visual! winter texture) but it does have winter physic effect on flight. There is a winter texture plugin you can use during winter and remove in summer.

Guy, This is great stuff, I have a VR question relating to the user feedback between the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, (not looking for this one is better than this) feedback but, overall difference between the two, if any from a user prospective. Are the views in both split screen view or full screen view ? I once tried the Oculus and got the worst migraine ever due to the split screen view/double view.

Simple amazing

Great shots. Lovely airport/Island to fly into...strike up a friendship and the peoples there will give you the shirts on their backs... Yes; that midday/afternoon inbound traffic can have you "holding short of rwy 07" for sometime. while holding short I have used the time to wave to the photographers they love that stuff or watch the sailboats and jet-skies going by.
