I use FS2Crew RAAS with my PMDG MD-11 in FSX but i didn't realise it should have its own profile. Mine works fine anyway.

If i remember rightly Morten; when i had cause to reinstall the MD-11 a few months ago, the installer only asked for the order number rather than a licence key. Richard

I should think it would. I can load flight plans to the NGX and MD-11 from FSC so i should think their latest and greatest would have the ability to do the same.

Good advice. I always go by the old saying of never put your aircraft anywhere where your brain hasn't been 5 minutes previously.

On the odd occasion, my FSX opens briefly in the same way but then instantly switches to the centre of the screen so it's never been an issue for me.No idea what causes it.

At British Airways Virtual we always use a cost index of 0 for climb and 28 for cruise.I believe that is the case with real world aircraft at BA.If i have a tailwind for most of the way, i usually use a CI of 0 all the way.

+1 for the MD-11.Although i love the NGX and have bought the model extensions, the PMDG MD-11 is in my opinion, the pinnacle of flight sim perfection.

It's a simple thing to create your own panel state.It took me 2 minutes to create and save exactly the one you want.

That was sorted in Hotfix 4.

The 737 NGX is now a highly polished product after SP1.I couldn't help myself and had to buy the NGX 6700 extensions as well.Just done a quick Vatsim flight, EGKK-LOWS and all is perfect.Very happy.Now where's that 777?

How about trying Hotfix 4?Or maybe wait for SP1, just around the corner.

The site is partially up now, but with SQL error messages.Still can't log in to book a flight though.

The PMDG MD-11 is an awsome aircraft and is significantly superior to the 747 which i never fly any more.I even think the MD-11 looks better than the NGX and it is certainly easier to fly.Just my opinion.

I bought the 737NGX today. The installation went smoothly as did my first flight, EGKK-EHAM.I believe the FPS are better than the MD-11 as it seems to be smoother to me.Excellent aircraft.

It's in a hidden folder called AppData which is in your user area of C drive.You need to go into folder options and unhide hidden folders to see it.

You need to go to the last fix in your route, then select your rway from the star page. If the destination airport is the same as the previous star selection, the FMS will delete the old info and replace it with the new.I think that's correct anyhow but i'm new to the MD11 myself. I have a the same thing happen to me though and it does work.

I am so looking forward to this beauty joining my PMDG 747X and PMDG MD-11 in my hangar.

Does it follow the route at all or just wander off route? SID set ok?I'm new to the MD11 and i find if the tutorial, if followed precisely all goes fine.I can now set my own routes, weights and fuel loads and make it to my destination ok.It is completely different to the Boeing but arguably more rewarding.

I have solved the 737NGX conundrum.I have just bought the PMDG MD11 instead!By the time i've got my head around the MD11 and competent to fly online, the 737NGX should be available for me to get my grubby hands on.Win - win all round...... I think

Once you've got used to the Trackir 5, you'll wonder how you ever managed to fly effectively without it.Excellent piece of kit :(
