    Redux lights

Well if the lights are on in the external view, they have to remain on in the view from the cockpit. Yes, the strobe, navigational, beacon lights they are all on. The overall lighting effect in this plane is on the DIM side. I'm still trying to figure this out... Warnings are "Doors auto", and "Landing Altitude"... I just loaded the plane upon an arrival with the Dash 8 just to check at night the lights. Chemanuel

    Redux lights

I think there is a problem for some of us with the lights, or there is a bug! OMG I said that word here! In external view I can see the lights: Then I switch to the VC View OMG I finally saw the lights!: BUT! it last only for 1/2 of a second!, After I see the lights for 1/2 a second or so... they PUFF! are gone, total blackness, masive external par bulbs blow out! any body else with this problem? Chemanuel
  3. Nope! I still like the 737 better. Every PC is a different monster out there. If I apply the bufferpools=0 tweak, the T7 FPS will drop to 13. I have to write back the pools size applied by Venetubos tweak. I get 22 frames with the T7 in places I get 35 with the NGX. For me the NGX 1st, Majestic Dash8 2nd and the T7 comes in 3rd place. Chemanuel
  4. Is not only cause by the cold and dark state. I only select ILS approaches. It has worked fine like in 3 or 4 flights. I had to land visually after approaching to the runway since the ILS haven't been auto tuned. It's obviously a bug beyond the C&D. It works fine some nights and some don't and I'm talking about the same flight with the same settings every night... and the same exact flight plan. Chemanuel
  5. Mine works but they iluminated the ground kind of dim. I can see the nose gear light turning while taxing. Chemanuel
  6. I don't see better frames either, I'm not so happy?/satisfied? than others. I do get lower frames than the NGX. It feels like a big clumsy NGX Also the delay in switching views, waiting for textures to load. I wasn't getting the skeleton fuselage with the NGX, I'm getting it with the T7. I have a good system, less than a year old, I7 (Overclocked) 16 gigs, GTX 560i 1 gig card, turn off all unnecesary sceneries. I get about 32 frames in KLGA with the NGX heavy scenery, down to 24 when I undock the pfd mdf to use it in my full size (half) cockpit. The T7 goes down to 15 by just clicking on the PFD. I do have to admit that I don't have all the problems other users are having. It flies fine and everything works perfectly. The NGX is a work of art ... I know the T7 is in the hangar (I had to buy it to try it), but I'm a short hauler, the NGX and the DASH 8 are my aircrafts of choice. Chemanuel
  7. Same here: Order #232329 - Order Date: 9/3/2013 - ORDER CODE: UDD9298051443 system is crashing at times giving an error... paid, no order status link, no download link. Chemanuel
  8. You can't undock a virtual cockpit, but you can undock the 2D view of the overhead and move it to your monitor. Press A, go through the views, when you reach the 2D view of the main panel, press shift 6, Undock the overhead, move it to your monitor press A and go back to your VC. Chemanuel
  9. Yes!, the engines are on, it happened to me yesterday BUT was after I clicked something and then I clicked another button like to fast close to the other one...at that point the props animation, jump to a crawl... I just proceded to the runway took off and continue flying... A computer re-start fixed the issue... chemanuel
  10. Its easier than having to use FSUIPC, I just installed another controller.a steering wheel. Program one of the buttons for autorudder on & off... Turn it on to taxi...turn it off before takeoff (if you wish) Depending on settings, sensitivity and taxi speed... it will turn very good. I have it next to my saitek controller on the left using it as the tiller Also my trim wheel is another asset:
  11. I know Alaska Airlines don't fly the 600, BUT they have 24 737-400! We don't have to be so realistic... Can any of the talented artists out there create one for the 737-600?. or adapt one of the previously created? I don't like big planes therefore it is the only one I fly. I'm returning to Boeing the 700, 800, and the 900. Chemanuel
  12. SENSITIVITIES! Go to controls, sensitivities and make sure they are to the max on each throttle assigned! Chemanuel
  13. Zowen: The issue you are describing while recording at 1/5 is normal... remember you are amplifying the problem as you speed it up. This is why you see the jumps. Even in the second video you can still see the frames jumps even though is a lot smoother. Therefore I suggest keep on down that "road" The first thing into consideration is really the system, I'll suggest 50% speed, however the system needs to be in top shape..meaning, some of the best videos I've seen on you tube, beside the Intel processors, they have been produced with 2 video cards in SLI mode... If you have a fast processor but a not so fast video card, you will have a bottleneck with the aforemention results. If the video card is the culprit, that is the moment when to slow down, but even then at slower speed you see the frame drops, these will be amplified upon speeding it up. Therefore the first step is to deal with the system even lowering some of the settings in order to avoid the "loading of scenery" while you are recording. Also use always 29.97 frames or 30 frames per seconds using less force the system to "interpolate" to produce some missing information due to the missing frames. make this test... take a good look at your video while recording it, you will see is a lot smoother, than when you watch it after you record it. Upon playback you will see the missing frames and the jumps produced by the recording program. Since I have professional equipment hooked to my PC, I don't use Fraps or FSrecorder, I record my video live to a Sony professional DVCAM digital video Tape machine, then I digitazed it into Adobe Premiere PRO or Final Cut being my favorite the Premiere, and work from there. BUT I think that through out the years I have recorded one video. I really don't have the time to work on FSX videos. I hope this helps Chemanuel
  14. No problem at all... once he speed the video back to normal speed everything will be fine... Chemanuel
  15. If his system can't provide a smooth playback, Fsrecorder will try to do its best, but it ends there. FSREcorder can't record what it doesn't see... I can see all the frame "jumps" in the video you posted. Don't look at the plane, look at the trees on approach, from 0 to 7 seconds and so on... the background and the runway roll, you can see the jumps due to all the "missing" frames. There are about 2 to 4 frames missing in that video in most areas... It still jumps. FSRecorder will record clean and perform better on a good playback machine. My suggestion of slowing down FSX speed will help his system on a smooth playback, even with FSrecorder since the PC will have more time to render the video since the load on the video card will be slower. Chemanuel
  16. Ryan: Take this from a Professional Video Editor and Sound Engineer with over 30 years of experience with documentaries, Commercial Television Sitcoms, Video production and Post-production. You are been bullied by one Moron! with a foul mouth. I went saw your video and read his comments. You have common sense , you need some guidance and rules. Also be creative. 1. If your system can't provide smooth frames, lower the speed of OPERATION OF THE SIM, Playback slower then you can speed it up normaly. 2. Rules of engagement: a. start with a establishing shot...The wide shot that describes what you want to express or show. b. From there you can go to cuts to closer, to inside views, to over heads etc. c. Don't use the sound of switching windows... record what we call NAT sound...(Natural)... record a couple of minutes of the exterior engines...this is the sound you will use, at different levels, high outside and the same "color" of sound at lower settings for far away views. You control the sound. d. Please, your favorite rock guitarrist is forbidden for background music e. NO I repeat, NO 20 minutes of WINGS views of flight that doesn't say anything like everybody does... thats what the cuts and disolves are for... in a video YOU want to show something...tell a story, looking for 7 minutes at a wing view doesn't do that. Practice, watch, watch and watch... before you watch a TV show in your house, I have watch it over 10 times, cleaning, sweetening the sound, mixing it etc... Be creative, then upload it. Chemanuel
  17. DJJose Apparently there is a problem, I can't post them either and I done it countless of times. It even tells me I can't use that extension in this forum. Chemanuel
  18. DJJose: link the photos to your files storage... example take your link...and click the little link icon (the one with the chain)... and paste the link there... It should show up... I use Photobucket... don't know about fsfiles Chemanuel
  19. I downloaded some of the enhanced files for the areas that don't have lights like St Thomas or St. Marteen for the Experience X... here are the install instructions, copy this to your MAIN FSX folder!. Uhh!, shouldn't it be in the scenery folder of Aerosoft, or Tropical Sim for that particular scenery? I already messed up the product installation since the instructions shows up after you make the mistakes installing it to the wrong folder... Chemanuel
  20. Exactly!, I got videos of aircrafts on approach a 380 and all of a sudden the tcas started screaming!, and the Captain blasted the approach control over not giving them warning up to the last moment. The captain saying "THAT WAS TOO LATE"... Again only once in over a year I've gotten a TRAFFIC! warning and I almost have a heart attack since it was the first time I've heard it... and that was also the last. Lately I 've been cruising at 19,500 feet with about 6 more aircraft and everybody is living happily ever after Chemanuel
  21. I never get a warning either!, Last night I was landing in San Juan runway 8, on the left to his approach to the other runway was an aircraft crossing in front of me. I saw some of the faces in the windows Never got a warning... Chemanuel
  22. Yes and since I have design a couple of airports including my home airport, Isla Grande, I just installed a bunch of light fixtures in the scenery...looks awesome! Chemanuel

  24. Thank you!, Will purchase it now... Well the install went pretty messy!, the instructions showed up after I make the mistake of installing it inside FSX since no info in the folder line was there the line is blank and I didn't have a clue to where to install it... The PDF instructions pops up after the mistake, and trying to uninstall it was also a problem, the install doesn't show up in the control panel... I just delete the FSX folder..after looking for a while since I didn't know the name of the folder either...kind of dissapointing, I think the deverloper should work a little on the installation. I hope I end up with something that works. Chemanuel
  25. Ok...I'm kind of lost here with all these abreviations... the Experience X are the lites...Do I need to purchase GEX to have the lights? Its kind of confusing.. or this works directly with FSX? The simmarket page states that there is a regional product for my area... Is this the GEX? Chemanuel
