I started to run them down, but figured that it would be defended and debated into oblivion, so I see no real use. You and the rest of the team do a good job most of the time, and I understand some of the stuff you see, but it still stands that this is the most heavy handed community when it comes to moderation around town. Who honestly cares how long posts go on, or if someone is beating the horse past dead and well into the second death with a post going on and on. It is a discussion and FS community. The main and only purpose of this place it to talk, and discuss. All I am saying is that sometimes, it goes too far, just like sometimes posters go too far. Instead of their posts being plainly edited, or deleted most of the time, or efforts made to steer the topic back on track, it is simply closed.

Which is true....there is no freedom of speech here. But, alas, it is what it is. There are some very heavy handed moderators here IMO and some more level headed ones. It is a trade off. Sometime it gets very very nit picky, and I agree that topics should only be closed due to rule infractions, never because a mod does not feel like dealing, or reading it. But again, it is what it is, while this place takes donations, it is not owned by the public, therefor we follow the rules placed, and must go along with the people who run it.

I have the non pro and it is just fine. You can if you want just plug it in and play. I have lately though been wanting more and more a yoke, as not many of the planes I fly in FSX have a throttle on the left and stick on the right/center. Also, one thing about it I don't like. The cord from the throttle body to the stick is long, I mean long, and the main cord to your computer is so so short. Almost like they got the blueprints mixed up when they mass produced these things. Makes for a fun setup if you are like me and have a massive exec desk.

Hey guys. I have a question. Is there a config file for scenery that FSX builds and edits like the regular .config file that can be deleted forcing it to rebuild? Reason is that I try out freeware and other sceneries and delete them just as fast. Just want to know if there is a config for that that can be refreshed and if it is even needed to do so. Thanks in advance.

Did any of you guys like prepay for this or something? Was monies deducted from your account and a promise date of delivery made? Just trying to make sense of people actually getting angry over a addon not being released when they want it to be. They should probably release it now then, and then just iron all the problems and stuff not working right at a later date, so at least it will be released right? I would so much rather pay money for something broke then wait a while for something good.

You sure are free to state you dislike something you buy.... but it wouldn't it make more sense if you were mad about something left out by accident? Many people here I guess just don't understand how someone can be upset with an addon over the fact that it is modeled the way it is suppose to be, and does not have an FMS when they don't. On a side note, I am very displeased with PMDG that they did not add an option to Retro Fit props onto the 737......

I am just curious over this because I hear there is no chance of FSInn working in P3D. SB4 I hear is the only option so far, so unfortunately I would have to use that.

This issue has been the one thing holding me back from the switch as I only fly online. I hope others can also chime in.

I love how the developers tell people it is a Beta patch, and people read official patch, and then complain I love this plane, large numbers do not have these issues He speaks of. The Beta patch fixes night lighting issues and the Altimeter is being addressed. As for performance, yes she may be a little hard on the system. I see no issues even in Orbx KSEA but I don't have a low end system. As for the retro style. Did you even read the description of the plane? The preview video before it actually shows most of the plane tells you that is is just that, retro, no or low tech. BTW. It is called flight planning. I fly only on vatsim and use this in and out of KBOS KMIA KTPA KSEA KLAX KSAN KLAS and hundreds other. You can fly SIDS and STARS with it, you just have to know how to read charts is all and use navigation techniques that are learned at the most basic level for all pilots.

Is it not like EZDOC in that before you uninstall it you run a built in utility really quick to take out all the edits of the configs, then run the uninstall program for the main program itself?

I usually center my TIR and then lock it. Maybe that would work for you before you disconnect it in Opus?

I have always been of the mind that I will never keep a CPU long enough to worry about the shortened life span of an OC anyways. Chips are made now so fast you could easily fall behind by only upgrading once a year. Lol.

Janes Apache Longbow. Classic example. I could have sworn that this was going to be as good as it got. Nothing better. Now, I can't even make out the displays cause it is so "blurry" lol.

I find leaving, to be honest HT ( Hyper Threading ) on works best for me. I don't see stutters, but do believe it runs better for me at my current OC. The Temperature difference is only one degree so that does not concern me. Other stuff you do though with your computer will benefit from having HT on, and it is a waste to have a powerful computer with it turned off.

What kinda resource amount does this use? I know that EFB hit my older system pretty good when it was on moving map following my flight. I would buy this, but I want to be able to make sure it won't bog down my system with it running open, along with my other pop-ups. I know their is a free trial, but it would be nice if someone could chime in anyways without me maybe wasting my time. Thanks!
