737 NGX and Saitek Combat Rudder problem
Jeroen, i've had exactly the same problem. After touching the brakes for the first time, and releasing again, i had to apply more throttle to move my NGX again. Something to do with a screwed up saitek driver i guess. I found a solution which solved the issue for me. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=85210, post #8 especially, the regedit. Only thing I had to re-assign saitek controls in FSX again. Hope it helps.

Which developper you want to thank for bringing you fun in 2012 ?
A2A, for redefining realism and providing us birds with a soul...

Which addon aircraft are as real as it gets?
Why dont you try one of A2A's old warbirds like the Mustang (with Accusim ofcourse), even if you're not too fond of those birds you're in for a more than pleasant experience! Especially in managing A/C systems, with fantastic simulation of wear and tear, and that powerful sound they produce, wow.

How does one pay for ATPL?
The money indeed can be a major issue, especially when one has to pay for himself and there is no job guarantee. You talk about 65.000 for ATPL, does the academy offering that rate require you to pay that at once? I also did some research (in the Netherlands where i live) in what all costs there are in getting PPL/CPL etc, and found one flight school with good prices and allows you to pay in steps per "training activity", and depending on what you can spend and what your personal timeframe is. Maybe a structure like this will suit you more, i know it would for me. This is the website of the school: http://www.executiveflight.nl/english/efa-content/flight-training.html They are based in NL but offer their services across Europe i believe and they have nice online training options besides classroom training. And if you check out their prices you will also see that their ATPL comes ofr around 54000 - 56500 euro. You can also see the prices of all the different modules and hour building. So the nice thing is that you have some flexibility in how much to spend when, in line with your financial situation. Please note i have no ties with this company or interest in it, i just found their offering very appealing.

How do you keep track of all the payware airports you have ?
I have everything put in an excel file, FSX settings, tweaks and addons. For every addon i have noted the complete name, manufacturer and version number, this way its easy to find out if a new version of a particular addon has been released. I also print out the invoice, and if needed note down the serialnr on it, of every purchase i make and store those in a map.

Looking For Advice re: Sudden development of low frame rates
Do you experience the same problem with other games as well or only with FSX? What are your processor and card temps the moment FPS drops?
