  1. Thanks for the tips and the heads up on iFly going bonkers. Do you think maybe you could have gotten the aircraft.cfg files mixed up? I have done that before with merges and it is not fun. Hope you get it straightened out.
  2. Do you have any problems have the aircraft holding the cruise altitude? And would you mind if I can try out your merge?
  3. I think there is still life left in the Queen. Delta is refurbishing their 747s so they plan to keep the old girl around. So there is life in the girl. Long live the Queen!
  4. Just as long as it don't look like one of Air France's 777 I saw a few years back. It looked liked it hadn't seen a wash rack in years. If I can find that photo, I will post that link. Now, I will take my 777 like Delta's, nice and shiny, fresh from the paint hangar. :Peace:
  5. I like the semi-used look. Been in service for a while, but looks like it just came from the wash rack. The paint is little faded, but not faded a lot. A little paint chipping off here and there...... well you get what I'm getting at. It doesn't matter to me, just as long as everything works and it flies right. :Peace:
  6. This is awesome news. Looks like I'm going to be doing some upgrades to my computer in the next few months for the T7 and others. By the way, will the T7 come with PIPs already installed or will we have to order those seperately? :LMAO: Guess I will have to stand in line and wait for the manuals. At least they are not like the Aircraft Maintenance manuals I have had to deal with. (Each manual deals with every system aboard an aircraft, for example the Boeing 737 has more than 10 different binders or more! Thank goodness they are on computers now.) But seriously, thanks for the update guys and keep'em coming. :Peace:
  7. Both FSDT GSX and AeroSoft AES has taking FS to another level with the work they have done by adding ground crews and other things like that to up the realism. Now to add passengers, that is something I don't know about. It might be good for some, maybe for the videos and such, but if you are using a PMDG product, most of the time will be up front prepping the aircraft for departure or shutting it down. For right now, I like things the way they are. Could it happen down the road, who knows. We just have to wait and see.
  8. Indeed Southwest did buy AirTran, but now they are trying to unload the B717s to keep a common fleet with the 737NGs. So the rumor is that Delta is trying to take them off of their hands for them. Personally, me being from Atlanta and working at that airport years ago and seeing seeing Delta and AirTran battle with each other and soon to see the AirTran livery fade away into the sunset like NW, it was a sad day for me. :sorry:
  9. PMDG won't do Airbus because FSLabs are handling that end. But I think it would be neat for them to do a Boeing 717, especially if Delta takes over AirTran B717s.
  10. The type of engines used on the 777-200LR, -300ER, and 777F is up to the operator of the aircraft, They are usually the GE90-110B or GE90-115B. Both are extremely powerful engines. :Peace:
  11. Thanks alot. This is awesome! :(
  12. Nice video! Seeing the Delta Air Lines MD-11s took me back to the old days at Atlanta-Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Talk about powerful engines, these things use to shake the building on take-off. AWESOME! :(
  13. I usually do late evening flights across the pond to Europe. The LAX-SYD route, I had got called into work and had to leave it running. But I haven't tried flying online yet, then I would have to be close to the sim while I was inflight. Then really would be long haul flying. :(
  14. I can't wait to get my hands on the PMDG 777. I did a lot of long hauls with the POSKY 777-200LRs and 777-300ERs with the PSS panel merge in FS9. I would takeoff, let it fly, take care of my business, go to work, come home, and land. So, Im looking forward to doing the long hauls with this beauty, especially since it seems that the LR will be released first. First I will do a few runs between ATL-JFK, MCO, and maybe DTW, the its on to the ATL-LAX-SYD route. Can't wait. :(
  15. OMG! I cant wait to fly this beauty. The 737NGX is good, but I think think this will be better!
  16. My FAM Flights will be KATL-KJFK, KATL-KMCO, and KATL-KDFW. Then I will rpobably do KATL-EGKK or KATL-LFPG, and then KATL-YSSY via KLAX. The last one will be a long one indeed. All done on a Delta Air Lines 777-200ER and 777-200LR for the KATL-YSSY route when it comes out.
  17. I think the use of a 3D panel for the Boeing 777 is a good thing. With the good work PMDG put into the 737NGX, I don't think the 777 will be disappointing. But remember, PSS came out with the 777 with a VC and back then, you didn't have EZDok and TrackIR. I forgot what program it was called, but you could move around the cockpit and cabin in VC mode and it took a little getting use to, but it was fun. BRING IT ON PMDG!!! :(
  18. I was wondering something. With the release of the PMDG 737NGX, this question struck me: Which one is better PMDG or Ariane Design? Both are highly realistic, have great VCs and exterior models, but I think that Ariane Design 737NGs may be a little bit more realistic where there different options for what type of MCP, either Sperry or Honeywell, aircraft with eyebrows or no eyebrows, and other features for Ariane Design 737NGs. So which product is better? Just trying to get a feel of what other people think. :(
