Product key already in use.
Yes I did. I even followed this guide. https://microsoftflight.com/en-us/faqs/#troubleshooting It didn't work. The problem is I haven't had any answer from MS and even tried to get in contact via facebook. Apparently they must be very busy?. I got the Maule and the RV and also Alaska so it'd be a shame losing all that content when I paid for it. It seems a problem with the serial, I have no idea why. Thanks for the advice anyway.

Product key already in use.
No one knows anything?. I have been trying to get in contact with MSFlight to ask for a new key but I haven't had any answer. I guess I lost the content I purchased?.

Product key already in use.
I have reinstalled Microsoft Flight but when I sign in I get this message I tried this http://steamcommunit...60163767318406/ But didn't work. Sent a email to [email protected] but haven't received any answer. I am pretty sure I am signing in with the same account that I used to download and purchase the game in the first place so that can't be the problem. Any ideas?.

Flight Alaska vs. Tongass Fjords (comparison shots)
I personally prefer water effects in FSX, even not maxed out(mid 2.x settings) water effects look more natural. In Flight it seems less realistic in my opinion. Autogen is better done and performs better on Flight but still FSX overall feels more natural, specially in weather effects and clouds in general. I do like how Flight looks but when I fly in FSX it feels more natural even using stock scenery.

Carbon Cub...How is it?
Compared to the stearman for example the Flight model of the Carbon Cub feels simpler and more like a "Basic" plane. My guess is if a deluxe version of the Carbon Cub comes out it will come with a better FM too. I am comparing it with the stearman because I simply love flying it and I think(my opinion) the stearman is the best modelled aircraft in Flight.

Flight .cfg tweaks and performance
Agreed. Actually in many cases it's just a placebo effect. Unless many files are too scattered over the hard drive. It can increase the load times but no more than that.

Do you like the "mouse for flying..." in MS FLIGHT?
Flying with a mouse?. 25 years ago, maybe. Right now with all kind of joysticks you can find out there, I see no reason for that.

Flight and Forced AA
To override AA go to the Flight.cfg and change these two lines Custom=1 and AntialiasingQuality=0 Now you can create a profile for Flight changing AA and AF in the catalyst or nvidia control panel. It worked for me. I have an ATI 5770

Got the Zero... looking forward for the p-40 :-)
I only ask for planes like the Maule or RV6. Nothing less. It's their game, they can kill it in the best way they want.
-
Got the Zero... looking forward for the p-40 :-)
It's not a RC simulator. Anyways, keep enjoying your cockpitless planes. I am basically done with Flight. It's very sad how things are turning out. They'd be destroying what Flight simulation meant in the beginning.
-
Got the Zero... looking forward for the p-40 :-)
I think there is a big difference there. There is no simulation in flying a cockpitless plane while flying with autopilot enabled is still up to you. To me Flight not having cockpit means they kill the simulation aspect.

How could possibly someone enjoy a cockpit less plane?. The more I try to understand it, the more pointless I see it. So you just see the plane from external view all the time ? seriously?. It's not negativity, it's simply I don't get the point. I am almost done with Flight, at least until Alaska comes out. I'll see if they release a plane with cockpit but if not, there is no way I'll buy it.

Alaska being shown at PAX
That's amazing, only one video on youtube(pax east 2012) showing some content about Flight. We are the minority of the minority.

Smooth as silk...
Well. I must be the only one who don't like cockpitless planes then. Besides. During the 1980s there was at least a flat cockpit Despite back in the 80s technology wasn't that evolved at least they tried to make it look as realistic as possible. Nothing compared with these cockpitless planes in Flight. I guess people on this forum support each other...
-
Smooth as silk...
Then what' the trend now. More cockpitless planes?. 1 deluxe plane every 3 months vs 1 basic plane a month?. I enjoyed the Maule, Stearman, RV6. I found them the way to go. But it seems that trend can change in the future.

Smooth as silk...
Very smooth... I'll keep posting my complains on this forum as long as I do it respectfully. Besides, You can make up the story that you want. This idea of no cockpits is a non sense, unless you are a beginner and don't care about aviation or simulation. I have been around computing since 1980s and this idea is meant for the masses which means, Flight will end up being dumbed down for the sake of these people. Even most of the freeware planes have a cockpit. In the past there was always a cockpit. We can't go backwards.... We can't have a 6 core CPU and a GPU that can render amazing sceneries and then you play a plane without a cockpit. You can try to convince yourself that everything is ok, but it's not. When I was 10 years old. I used to play simulators and enjoy reading the 200 pages of manual and learn about how planes worked. and.... they had a cockpit. Yes, it might not be a 3d one but a cockpit after all. This story is crazy and makes no sense. I don't have many options to choose from, so I don't want them to destroy the very few that still remains.

Smooth as silk...
I downloaded the Zero too and it lasted for 30 mins. I can't enjoy a plane where the only thing I can do is just look it from external view and that'll all. The problem here is, if that trend continues. MS will kill the little simulation that still remains in Flight. I have played simulation since the spectrum and can't remember of any simulator without a cockpit. This is simply against common sense. It did have cockpit, not a 3d one at least they did it. Trying to say it's a good idea is non sense. Oh so there is no room to complain then?
-
Smooth as silk...
The major problem here is. No VC means no simulation. No simulation, no Flight. Since the first simulators came out during the 1980s there has always been a cockpit. If no cockpit, then why call it Flight?. Even HAWX has cockpits. I think they are making history to become the first simulation that simulates planes without a cockpit and that doesn't make any sense at all. So we going are backwards now?...
-
Smooth as silk...
I agree with jcomm but the only thing I really hate is planes without VC. It just kills the simulation. If some people enjoy flying the plane in external view that's ok. But at least give the rest of us a decent VC.

That's good news

This is how the MS Zero addon should look like
I did all of that but I could barely get 25fps. I'll have to wait until it's ready or I upgrade my PC.

This is how the MS Zero addon should look like
Yes, it's xplane 10. I keep downloading the demo from time to time but there is no way I can run it properly. I get most of the time 20 fps even turning graphics settings down.

This is how the MS Zero addon should look like
I just posted it on the beta forums.

- Guys&Gals... tell me the TRUTH....
I bought it, tried it... and that's it because I found it a waste of money and very boring. I didn't buy the P-51 so I was hoping at least I could enjoy a decent flight model and play it tweaking the view and being able to fly the Zero with the pseudo cockpit. Bu nothing like that.So I bought a useless plane. - Guys&Gals... tell me the TRUTH....
