Hi all, I just had a replacement of Saitek yoke. I sent the previous one back complaining that the right roll mode a little too sensitive, jumping from 0-1500 in fsuipc. Are any of you guys find the saitek yoke little sensitive when rolling right?

To enable exterior wing movement I would have thought you just activate RND(Random), which it will simulate the roughness of the surface when the plane is on the ground. If you like to simulate the movement of the pilot's head, that cause my aircraft maneuvers, touchdowns, turbulance etc, you should select DHM in EZCA Shaking modes. Don't forget this effects can be tuned by right clicking the individual modes. If this doen't help, you can click here, I'm sure they will help you further :)

Hi all, After thoroughly searching the forum, don't think anyone has brought up this topic. So has anyone use the Simionic G1000 Simulator V1.4 on Ipad yet? If yes, kind to share your experience with me please? Is reasonable price and I am thinking getting it.

I use TrackIR and EZCA.

I got a hat clip and position the TrackIR on top of my 40" LED TV, I find it too high as it loose the tracking when I look down. Then I try position on my desk, this time when I try to look up it looses tracking... Guess I should get a smaller monitor in order to make full use of the gadget.

in 1:49, the VC has a video screen showing the top tail end of the air plane, surely that's edited by some video editing software.

Glad to know you have sorted the fault, I am also glad to be part of AVsim as there are so many experience trouble shooters with FSX here :)

Hi Carl, sorry to hear you are experiencing CTD. I'm not as technical as some of the troubleshooting genius here. I know most of us dreaded the experience of re-install everything. Especially you talking about $1K worth of add-ons. I recently had to reinstall everything due to CTD, because the amount of time looking for a solutions trying to rescue the program is just frustrated. If you really treasure the program, is best to start from fresh and do it right. For me, I learn a lot from my research on how to create a better and stable fsx. :)

Ok, just bought a WD HDD and new version of Pete D FSUIPC 4.827. Hope this time will eliminate all the problems. Btw, anyone has any information i.e. video link on how to set up Saitek Pro sytems?

Wow, your system is lower spec than mine. Now I begin to wonder where it went wrong. Maybe is my hdd as is about 3 years old. I know everyone is pointing towards Word Not Allowed guidance. But not everyone is rich as him :) He has the best yoke and top of its range system. For ppl with a budget, perhaps we need to upgrade bit by bit slowly until it eliminate all the crashes in fsx.

@ Jim, Thanks for the advice. I am aware of checking on the event viewer to diagnose the problem. I have followed very closely on the thread with CTD. I appreciate Pete D with the wonder Fsuipc software can target many fixes. But this has nothing to do with enb series. I uninstall it as it make my VC view very dark. And beside, enb is never recommended with fsx. The reason I went for FSX because of the scenery realism. Has high hope on MSflight b4 it release, tried it, not suitable in term of flight simulation. @blueshark747, not sure what or where you getting at my friend...Im not looking for an argument here. Just looking for an answer here as what to decide in terms of Stable Flight Simulation platform to practice beside the real thing. Because I'm not rich, only can afford perhaps 5-6 lessons a year. And this depend on the wonder UK weather we have. @PIC007 I got the Gold + Acceleration edition, GEX + UTX, All 4 Region of Orbx AU, some payware air plane including the latest Baytower RV7, plus other add-ons etc. I use to use Bojote's ******* tweak until Word Not Allowed came up with the wonderful fps boost. I regularly defrag with O&O. At the end of the day, we go back to the OT, is it worth staying on with FSX or going for the more stable P3D. (So far I've not heard of P3D crash though...) Thanks for the confirmation. Think is about time to be serious on FSX and fellow your hardware guidance thread.

Congrats with your "stable" FSX. I doubt you spent enough time to crash it I suppose. I spent approx 6 hours every day practising my skill since I'm a student pilot.

Recently, I experience yet another unstable loading of FSX. It load up until default flight screen but with no Airplane in the picture, only black screen. After trying all methods rescuing(i.e. deleting the cfg/xml files etc) without reinstalling FSX. I failed to get it start. At the end I went on to reinstall FSX. After installing a fresh copy of FSX. It work fine booting up to default flight with animated airplane picture this time. So I thought, yay I fixed it! Next, I reboot and do the Nick's step by step installation guide with add on. The first add on I installed is EZdok. When I load FSX and up to where it ask for 'trusted' window pop up, it crash... Some time I just wonder FSX is worth the time. Each time reinstall FSX, reboot, reinstall each individual add-ons. It take me approx 3 whole days and nights. (This includes defrag the drive with OO software). And then, just you thought everything is stable....IT crash after 2-3 months of play.

You will enjoy more when REX Essential release.

Same here, I got a old 4 series Nvidia card before i upgraded to this one, it died within 1 month.

Thank you Ray for this complete review. Shame I miss out on the little discount as i bought it almost immediate after reading your review on AVsim front page, should have waited. Been rallying Orbx Aus scenery and enjoy every minute of it with this little gem.
