This is probably no help but I recently got this error also. The problem for some reason was adobe photoshop running in the background. My only suggestion is to check for background applications that may be using graphic resources .

Which squawk code? There quite frequent if you look at flightradar24 often. They are for the most part radio failures.

Yeah that's the issue then. Glad to help. If your just getting a feel for the aircraft I also recommend setting 1/3 fuel. It gets the aircraft off the ground much quicker and you don't have to worry about trim settings. But try to get into using the FMC it's a real treat to have it all working together

Have you set Your "v" reference speed in your FMC. If your not properly setup for a flight it won't call out v speeds.

Response time and initial load time is normal here for me in Ireland 2-3 seconds at the most. Haven’t notice any problems with speed using IE9 or IPad mini.

Might be something to do with the time change to daylight savings time. Remember when Apple had the same problem with iphones a couple of years ago.

Nope. Your good to go You can double check by looking at the PMDG setup selection in the FMC and selecting "About" It names the service pack installed.

I think default FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.33 or someting like that. Try to change that to 0.15 and incease your LOD_RADIUS to 6.50000 If that is no help we'll start to look at Card settings

I am currently using the 7770 and I have no complaints.30 fps in default areas in the NGX and about 22-28 fps in ORBX Europe at UK2000 airports. With OPUS running What is your current 3d application settings for fsx inside your Catalyst Control Center ? To be honest it may be more to do with your cpu then your gpu. Amazon.co.uk is good and safe, however postage is not always callculated and thus price can be more then expected. I recently had to buy a drive belt for a motor on amazon.co.uk that cost 5.99 GBP but had to pay an additional 18.99 GBP in postage to ship to Ireland. I had no choice but to buy the part due to the fact I could not find one near me. Just keep postage cost in mind and you will do fine

I agree totally with the entitlement part. But in general crazies take the path of least resistance if its to much hassle to pay money to be a troll then they wouldn't be bothered. And still if they do decide to sign up and be a pain on the forum, well at least they'd be helping pay for site maintence

What if AVSIM became a subscription based forum.Im not talking allot of money but maybe 30 dollars for the year.It wouldn't be done as a source of revenue but a way to deter the crazies. This is probably off topic but sort of fits.

It's unfortunate that its come down to this.Nobody wins in a situation like this but I believe the mods made the decision to keep Avsim out of trouble, and therefor the right decision was made. I will miss Word Not Allowed but I would miss AVSIM more if it got too hard for the mods to handle, it's better to nip these things in the bud. Separately.... Sorry to here about your hard time Paul, everything always seems to happen at once.Hope things start to look up soon.

Yeah installed it a short while back. I’m not the most technically inclined person so I can’t really speak about the facts and figures, but on the face of it there was very little or no difference. No harm in installing it either, it had no adverse effects. Let me know if you notice any improvements
