Mist following plane. Already tried other threads.
flying_bob replied to Jack_Sawyer's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
it can be fixed. it is only when you fly in hard snow area and it is only certain time of year. is is not wheelspary but engine wash spray http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/1572-remove-engine-snow-wash-effect-20-ft-below-plane/ other good effect changes: http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/1571-removed-clumps-from-wheelsnow-spray-effects-file/ http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/1556-removed-clumps-from-dust-effects-file/ -

Well thanks for the info. Downloaded the latest trainer installation file, (Do NOT INSTALL as ver 5 is not working with flight1 GTN750/650), extracted the data from the exe file, added to the garmin files, and whalla, all working..! all updated, and I have terrain data for "WHOLE WORLD". It really is a bummer for those that bought the trainer CD though to get the terrain data, as that data is now basically available for free..! absolute awesome now..!

I did not even know there was a latest paid version out. Just bought even though I am more then happy with freeware version. after years of using his program I just think it time to support the creator

i have i7 overclocked to 4.5 (and very stable) but running a GTX780. Will it really make such a difference to get a 980? Would this 980 not sit and wait for CPU and idling along? if 980 get a yes, which one would you recommend, then I am reasonably content with what I have, but you know there is always going to be the question, but maybe it can be better Sorry I am not that technical

How do you know Soft Clouds has loaded?
flying_bob replied to paulwilko10's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
it is just textures that is loaded. believe me if you have flown FSX a long time, when conditions is right for low cloud, you will notice immediately. Sorry there is not magic message that will appear to tell you it has been loaded. and now, there is neither something in a .cfg file that will indicate. The only way is to check the actual texture files date stamps that has been loaded. EG as example low cloud cummulus. Search for "cumulus01.bmp" (excluding inverted commas) in FSX directory should give you date modified details as 06 Jul 2014. If you have cumulus01.bmp file with date stamp of something like 2006, then yes it has not been loaded properly in FSX if the file is there with that date stamp then the files have been loaded in to FSX and then FSX will be using that file. Also take into consideration that many people use REX or ASN for weather engines, that MAKE huge difference in pertaining the effects. -
I am refering to these and I know it is wip, but when the props turn, the cone should look like icing accured, but in blurred way, but in the picture below the props are turning and should not look like they are now. The pic below fit a prop that is standing still . Sorry my english is not the best. Hope you understand Also seen I am sure on your list, that when all shut down even battery, the annunciater warning lights still on.

flight 1 GTN750 on dedicated touch screen monitor
flying_bob replied to flying_bob's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
10 inch lilliput coming up.. Thanks, was looking at this specific monitor, just needed confirmation it work Good as second monitor before ordering. i need to import therefore I wanted to be sure it works. Much appreciated. -
Received the new build today. new sounds I read in the email and all sound very promising.... I really hope the sounds will still be adjusted and that these are not final sounds. Not even sounds for engines winding down like in previous set. Cut the engines and then there is just no sound next moment. Also sounds going into beta range and out of beta is really not fluent. it is basically from one sound direct over to another. :Nail Biting: BUT as always this is work in progress and I accept it is not final. and I am just really not into the pitted cones. looks like a piece of shark skin in my side windows.. But I am still thinking this will turn out into a really great release - i sincerely hope so :Praying:

I havent been around around in a while so sorry if this issue has been raised and discussed, cant find such posts. So I bought the GTN750 and really like it, but I am thinking of using it on a separate touch screen monitor. Anyone doing this? I would really appreciate feedback on how you find it working and also what monitors (make/model/size) do you use for the dedicated GTN750 on separate monitor. please share your tips and experiences
