    I have had the same issue after changing the default flight. Deleting that flight in the documents\prepar3d folder solved it.

    I found a simconnect.cfg in \hifi\as_p3dv4\simconnectfiles. It has a line 'adress=myserveraddress'. By renaming this file, lord of the landing is now working. And as far as I can tell, active sky is also still working fine. Thanks for your help

    Thanks Branko, but I need permission before I can download your files ..... I saved my files as ANSI, but that did not work ( I'm using Textpad as editor). I still have p3d v3 installed, could that somehow interfere

    Lord of the landing does not work for me. It does not connect (also not using port 500). Is it correct the cfg file goes in the documents folder and not in the p3d folder ?

    I run P3Dv4 'out of the box'. No tweaks what so ever and it runs great. Why should I spend hours to go from 30 fps to 35 fps ? Less time tweaking = more time flying

    A big +1. You can do it by pushing the Anticipation slider all the way up, but that will give the same effect when flying and is not acceptable at that moment. So yes, it would be great if CP could make a distinction when on the ground of not. Or based on speed ?

    I switched to the "Lorby Addon Organizer". This free tool works perfect for v3 an v4. Also handles external xml files as recommended by LM

    Just installed PMDG 747 and 777 in P3D v4 In both planes, I cannot setup any external or static views. The option of adding a view is missing. Internal works ok

    The i7 2600K can be OC to 4.5 by just air cooling (not the stock cooler - spend $30 on a good cooler). Upgrade RAM to 16Mb and invest in a better video (nvidia 1060 or 1070 will do just fine if you do not want to max out settings)

    I just checked to be sure. When on the CP menu, inputs from my joystick still work. Keyboard not, of course !

    I use Texpad as editor and used it to add a line to prepar3d.cfg. All seemed ok but I soon discovered the following: - changes made within p3d ( assigned some keys ) were not saved. Next start the keys still showed up as I set them up, but they did not work. - items in exe.xml were not executed Forcing textpad to save as UFT-8 solved the problem. Strange that "corrupting" the prepar3d.cfg had these effects. Enabling error reporting did not report anything related to this issue.

    The flight planning tool EFASS NG works perfect with P3D v4.

    After installing CP, it puts both CP and VFXCentral in exe.xml. I removed Central and all still seems to work ok. Is there any need to have Central running all the time as well ?

    Used ADE to change ILS freq to 111.35. Rerun FSC database manager and all is ok now :) Thanks for helping out

    Thanks to the help of you guys here, I found the problem. The file ADE_FTX_IRL_EIDW.BGL, belonging to the ORBX Ireland scenery has for both rwy 28 and 10 ILS freq as 108.90. The correct freq for rwy 28 should be 111.35 Nothing much I can do about that I guess....

    My mistake, I was looking at efass, not pfpx - sorry. Looking at the map (I'm using p3d), the freq for rwy 28 shows 108.90 despite I updated the sim database. Must be because like Romain said, I have addon scenery for EIDW. Funny that also fsc shows 108.90 - so looks like fsc is using the sim database

    Sorry, I don't get it :( If 111.35 is the correct freq (and I think you are correct) then why are both PFPX and FSC showing 108.90 when they are up to date with the latest navigraph data ? By the way, I updated my navaids with the site you mention and I think that is when the mismatches began.

    The ILS frequency displayed in the CDU is not correct. To give an example: EBBR to EIDW landing on rwy 28, the CDU shows 111.35, heading 279. The heading is correct, but ILS should be 108.90. The flight goes correct, but of course fails to autoland due to the wrong freq. For planning I use FSC and PFPX and both have the correct ILS. All are updated with the latest 1705 airac data.

    I fly IVAO online in Europe and pick my flights depending on the controlled hubs. Ok, it sort of limits your start/destination but I am willing to give that up for the feeling of 'real' flying. Nothing beats the adrenaline when at the last minute control puts you on a hold due to heavy traffic or gives you vectors to deviate from your flightplan.

    There was no 'situation=' in my p3d.cfg, so I put in under [startup]. (guessing that is where it should be) t did not make a difference though.

    I have a similar problem when I launch a saved flight (xxxx.fxml). P3D starts and then disappears, but still running in taskmanager. Sadly, disabling FSUIPC did not solve my problem
