  1. This is my favorite : https://metar-taf.com/
  2. I run a 7700K / GTX1080 / 32GB / 1080p monitor with mostly medium setting. This gives me in the Fenix at a standard airport and no traffic 40/45 fps. Goes down to 30 fps at some payware airports, but still very enjoyably. I am using the DynamicLOD mod, which really helps !
  3. Not everybody can spent over €/$ 1000 on just a graphics card
  4. I just did the same thing. PMDG about 15 fps higher on my (old) system
  5. Same here, lower fps with same settings
  6. You can easily access the appsfolder. Hit Windows key + R, and enter 'shell:appsfolder'. Done !
  7. https://flightsim.to/file/16358/shift-z-stats You can change what is shown in the userconfig.ini file
  8. Indeed, chaseplane is much easier to set up.
  9. No, it does not. Not on my system anyway. I sort of get random places ????
  10. I mainly fly the Fenix A320 and get a warning it is incompatible and causing problems. That is why I stay with Pushback Helper It runs outside MSFS, so once in the air you can just close it
  11. Or, try this : https://flightsim.to/file/853/pushback-helper-v2-0
  12. Yes, it does show AGL. You need to edit the userconfig.ini. There is a list of all available parameters at the end of this file. (look for 'AltitudeAgl' ) I changed mine to show just the things I find interesting [TextInfo.1] FrameRate=1,1 Altitude=1,2 AltitudeAgl=1,3 Airspeed=2,1 AirspeedGround=2,2 WindDirectionAndSpeed=2,3 FuelPercentage=3,1 And removed [TextInfo.2] and [TextInfo.3]
  13. What about Fenix / PMDG / Maddog ... and don't forget the A2A comanche pa24 !
  14. The answer is just a couple of items up on this topic
  15. Yes, I noticed this too and it is because after landing, AGL is not always at 0 (zero) but hangs at 5 or 7 or so. I read somewhere to not remove the 0 AGL line, so to overcome this, I added an extra entry like 20:0.5. Seems to work fine 🙂
  16. Did you also install the UK2000 Common Library ? It is needed for all UK2000 airports. Never mind, just read you solved it 🙂
  17. I select the airplane, then the airport and click on one of the gate dots on the map. Works each time, never went wrong.
  18. If content.xml is present, MSFS will still load it. You can also change the loading order in General Options/Experimental/Package Reorder Tool If you have the content.xml file, you will notice that the items from content.xml are at the bottom of the list (loaded last)
  19. I've been a long time user of P3D, up to v5.4. Then switched to MSFS. With the release of v6, I thought to give it another try. But, once you get used to the MSFS graphics, P3D just looks so .... I don't know ... outdated ? With the PMDG 737 and the A320 Fenix I have the 'study level' airplanes I want. And for GA there is the fantastic A2A Comanche pa24 So, for me, P3D has been fun for many years, but that ends now.
  20. Is this correct ? On my system comparable with yours (7700K - 1080), starting with 5GB addons is under 2 min.
  21. Here is a list of call signs and their 'call name' https://123atc.com/call-signs
  22. It's probably me, but what exactly is the problem ?
