    the FPS lock at 30 is very bugged right now. its better to not use that option until they fix it.

    Good to go! Sometimes its the small things that make a difference! 5 FPS is alot when youre in the low 40s! Thats over a 10% increase!

    Its in the in game menu at the top....the little white drop down where you can change the weather , etc on the fly...just select the spokewheel and disable as many icons in that menu as you want. The VFR map is one of them. I tested it out and sitting at KLAX I was at 38 FPS. disabled...43 FPS. Enabled again...38 FPS. Disabled again..43 FPS.

    I kind of like a reduced real flight traffic. It gives me real flights but doesnt kill my FPS. I like seeing a few but sometimes the callsigns are laughable (generic 343 cleared to land! )

    personally, I would rather have smoother instruments. In low FPS situations, with the default config, the instruments still move in very fluid fashion. If you want about 5 FPS, disable the VFR map. That really does eat up about 5 FPS even if its not open. Get rid of that.

    been able to load the sim every time but now everytime I click on press any key to start...it just resets back to same screen again. Anyone else having this issue now? EDIT Working now. Disregard!

    curious to see whats in the patch! 80GB or not...I want to see what theyve been working on and if they have been listening to the real sim community and not just the gamers.

    hmm so setting the NVCP to 30 hz and then 60 hz in game matches it down to 30? I am going to give that a try!

    looking forward to an update on what the update will be when we get the update. 🙂 Edit - That was a bit of sarcasm bundled in with a bit of hope that the patch will come within a few days of tomorrows dev update. Heres hoping for a Friday patch!? 🙂

    So what do I have to do to get this to work? In game settings are a mess. I dont have tuner or anything like that just the Nvidia CP. Doing a global setting of v sync adaptive half refresh doesnt work. The game still runs at a high FPS based on FRAPS. How does this work??

    I found the same thing with my system. No matter where I flew my frame rates were about the same everywhere.

    Also note that if your nav radio is tuned to an ils frequency, the Garmin automatically puts the cdi on track for the ils heading.

    the best part about the yoke is all the buttons and toggles 🙂 They just need to fix the issue instead of us having to unmap a $250 yoke and only be able to use half of it lol

    I also had similar experiences and altitude clearances that are ridiculous. One flight it was descend to 13000...5 seconds later maintain 14000...5 seconds later descend to 13000...over and over.

    also going to be hard when the taxiways are not marked correctly in the game. Going to have to stare at the airport chart to figure out which way to go.

    its an issue across the board with Honeycomb yokes...do you have a honeycomb? Open a ticket with Zen and let them know. Everyone has been...just hold the mouse left click down to turn the knobs in 1 degree increments for now until it gets fixed. Keyboard assignments dont work in 1 degree increments right now either if you have honeycomb.

    having all these buttons is great...that is the point of the yoke aside from its incredible axis feel. I say everyone open a ticket with Zen..I did after I bought my yoke. Its something that needs to be addressed. We shouldnt have to remove functionality from a 250 dollar yoke just so MSFT heading and course indicators move in 1 degree increments.
