At least AeroLogic and Lufthansa Cargo have ADFs in their 77F, so a minimum of 10 planes by today.

So maybe someone disliked your post because it is factually wrong B) There are 77F, which were delivered by Boeing with ADF. And like the thread starter does, I don't like it that the PMDG 77F has no option of adding ADFs, despite real 77F having those.

I have the same problem with the 77F at KPAE 16R, EDDP 26L, LIME 28, VHHH 07L So when there is a solution, please post it here. EDIT: When I delete the ILS Freq on the NAV RAD Page, it works.

Lufthansa Cargo is there, because they get their first 777 next month. I think any other livery is the job of a community member ^_^

A switch like that would cause problems during a possible evacuation. I don't know any plane where you can find one. Additionally: Why would the cabin announcements "all doors in park" and "all doors in flight" still be necessary then?

Concerning the price: I just have been to the gas station. And while standing there, pumping gas, I was thinking about the PMDG 777 (I think pretty usual for many people here in this forum) and it got me thinking: Man, I am pretty sure, that the 777 will cost less than what I was paying there for filling up my 70L tank with some Diesel... And it's certain that the 777LR will get me much further away from home :lol: And that is a very nice way to think about the price...

I have absolutely no interest in a PMDG 787... There are so many other planes out there, that are more worth of being taken care by PMDG... Anyway, I'm still excited about the surprise, no matter what it is. ^_^

Maybe some day in the future, when FSX is still the standard "platform" for virtual aviation and every modern airliner will be available as a proper add-on, it's time to make classic beauties like the 741, L1011, DC-10 ...

Another question after watching some screenshots: Does it have an ADF? Will I be able to perform NDB-Approaches? [Edit]: Nevermind, seems to be customizable as on some screenshots there are ADF's. Strange, as I always thought that ADF's are a must have IFR equipment.

No problem for an Airbus as the door opens by swinging to the outside. In fact, due to the pressure difference, after unlocking the door it opens itself completely. There have been several accidents with ground workers due to that which is why it is very very important to open the door only if the engines are off. Last month I have attended an accident investigation where a ground worker tried to open the door of an Airbus with running engine #2 from the outside and he was thrown off the stair by the swinging door. The result were serious injuries. Anyway I don't want to go offtopic too far.

Just think about a balloon or a blimp. At has much more strength with an overpressure in it... The same way it works in an airplane.

About your question about the cabin pressurization and weight on wheels: I am not completely sure how it's in the 777 but on Airbus planes the cabin pressure on ground and in flight is always at least 0,7kPa higher than the outside pressure to stiff up the fuselage. So a weight on wheels command during landing shouldn't influence the cabin pressure. Only if weight on wheels and engines off apply the same time, the cabin will depressurize immediately.

Sorry but I did not mean a boxed version in any way. I was only asking about a downloadable version. And it is fully understandable that PMDG wants to get maximum profit and want us to buy their products in their shop. But to be honest I care more about how I can save my hard-earned money while buying their products than thinking about if 90%, 95% or 100% of my paid money goes to PMDG. If the conditions are the same I will always buy a product direct from the developer. But if there was a web shop like simmarket or amazon which offers me a 20% discount, I would buy it there.
