Matt Davies FSL A320 Walk-around & pre-flight Part 1

FSLabs has said that sharklets will be included, along with a319 and a321, a bit later on as expansion packs, because the sharklets version is much more than just a different 3D exterior model. The same applies for a319 and a321. They have yet to decide if they make the a318 afterwards which is more complex because of features such as steep approaches etc.

In my opinion the cockpit textures of FSLabs's A320 look more realistic than the more eye-candy visuals of aerosoft's version. For example take a look at the digits on the FCU which in aerosoft's version look much taller than what they are in a real A320. Also various buttons and knobs show some wear and tear in FSL which again look more realistic. Aerosoft's cockpit looks too clean and sterile.

Taxi2Gate's version is the newer Hong Kong airport. You're confusing it with Kai Tak (FlyTampa) which is the disused one.

Avoid Aerosoft EHAM at all costs. The biggest framerate hog of I have ever experienced in FS. Besides that, it's a 6 year old product, way too obsolete. Wait for FlyTampa's version.

Every existing ORBX addon works fine with FSX:SE so far so why not the same with the lite versions upgraded to full? From what i can understand you will be able to install the full versions in FSX:MS, FSX:SE and P3D after the 90-day period from the launch of the lite versions available only in FSX:SE.

We are nitpicking here. The difference in density of default vehicles is negligible. I bet that if you use any traffic addon we won't be able to tell them apart. The fps difference however is another story.

VAS management in FSX-SE is considered better than in P3D and original FSX. Though P3D's graphics admittedly look a bit better.

You must be delusional if you believe that FSX-SE isn't better than FSX-MS in terms of performance and VAS usage. You're just in a denial. The results speak for themseIves. I have FSX-SE and with the same settings and the same addons it performs much better and smoother than the original one. The same behaviour is remarked by many FSX users. If you can't stand the truth then do us the favor and don't judge something you clearly have no insight into.

Set water to Low 2X and disable aircraft shadows on ground as well as set bloom to off. Also set autogen density to dense.

Before many start celebrating, you have made wrong choice of screenshots. Fly lower around cities, around fields, near coastlines. You'd better use a GA plane. The only thing you can say from such a high altitude is that there is not much of texture repetition anymore.

No is does not require vector but is highly recommended. You need FTX Global though. I think that this video will you give you a good idea of what to expect. It's from the openLC Iceland demo (only Iceland shown).

I think that's a quite optimistic estimate. I think OpenLC NA will be released in late 2014, and in 2015 the other regions will follow, but we'll see.
