  1. Thanks for this. Just what I was looking for and must have scrolled over it many times, The max for this is round 60000lbs a bit lower than the maximum allowed but still very useful. Problem is as stated there seems to be more to it than this. You can after doing this go out to the map and adjust it in the fuel options but this is not the way you add fuel to MDG planes. Well I guess the job is not done till the paperwork is done....and we could do with some....in fact a lot...of documentation if this is to keep its name as value..
  2. I am still trying to find in the fmc where to add the tanks. The maximum fuel that can be added in Fuel is about 46ooo lb.
  3. One of the few reasons I was looking forward to the 700 and the forthcoming 600 was as a true long range (7000NM plus) aircraft to enable global operations. As far as I can see this does not appear the case. We are left with a standard range aircraft which would have difficulty flying extended ops in Australia or even Trans Tasman. Please tell me I am wrong as we are left with a big CJ3 range rather than one that competes with the Global 8000 and if provided with a cargo door as many are makes a very versitile combo platform. https://thepointsguy.com/news/vip-bbj-737/
  4. No longer. It used to be the go to feature of PMDG that they provided full documentation, QRH FCOMS etc in original form. Ten they sneakily removed them from all users without any warning later saying that Boeing made them. It did not stop them putting up the prices though. We were told search the internet. If we believed in Piracy we would not have bought the aircraft. It is still I believe the best aircraft availible but a lot of the feel good feeling has gone from the whole product line.
  5. You would be arrested for that now. Don't you know the poor creatures need protection.
  6. exactly....and in this case it seems there may be documentation missing (Understandably though maybe more than should be) and it seems everyone is very willing to say the developer (PMDG) in this case is at fault for not knowing things which may or may not have been documented. I am on the developer's side with this sort of problem as development relies on this. I will say ASOBO seems to be learning and doing a much better job for all concerned than a year ago.
  7. If the SDK is not fully documented it is not fully useable and it is not reasonable to say that PMDG for example is to blame for not knowing or fully understanding how something works. Responsibility in this case for the SDK would seem to lie with ASOBO.
  8. aic.gov.pg Ryan's Kodiak was apparently damaged. It seems he is OK www.aic.gov.pg MEDIA RELEASE10/202229 April2022 look for investigations on the first page
  9. Good thing not an English Army Major withe an English major or you would really get ordered around,
  10. Pity that you live where the weather is so bad your charming personality may not shine through :)))
  11. I was very very impressed with this. It does not make it into orbx but in some ways the detail it uses is more useful for navigation etc. Not an excessively priced product, Unfortunately my purchase was from an Australian retailer who did a flyier and just closed his shop even though the owning trust is still in place.

    Saying Goodbye

Goodbye good luck and I wish you were not going.
  13. Not sure his wallet did as it is the most expensive canal per mile in the world. Saves a 700 mile trip though. I would like to know more about the ship..is it driveable, where does it come from etc.
  14. Yes, that is true if you buy the pmdg one today you will not get a credit.
  15. Sadly you must have used a time machine as the canal is currently shut due to an earthquake blocking it. https://greekreporter.com/2022/02/06/corinth-canal-greece-shut/
  16. It was not and is not time limited. Everyone expected it to be released in a few months not a few years which has added somewhat to people's impatience. To be fair to Robert he produces a great product and is 100% honest which is more than can be said for some Developers.
  17. It has special curfew permission in YSSY which is a bit surprising as it is a fairly noisy beast. Turbo props can also fly there in curfew hrs, " Qantas Airways Ltd, Toll Transport Pty Ltd, Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd and Cobham Aviation Services have specific approval to operate a limited number of freight movements per week in low noise heavy freight aircraft: Qantas Airways quota is 27 BAe-146 movements per week Virgin Australia Airlines quota is 18 BAe-146 movements per week Toll Transport’s quota is 1 BAe-146 movement per week Cobham Aviation Services quota is 28 BAe-146 movements per week. A lot of bus jets may also operate at yssy during curfew as can be found here if anyone wants to fly by night https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/infrastructure-transport-vehicles/aviation/aviation-safety/aircraft-noise/airport-curfews/sydney/overview
  18. I fly with Virtual Airlines, or Real time flights that are in the air on FlightRadar24. I fly in Australia and Asia, mostly SEAsia and China. No airline flies the 700 or 600 in these aireas that I am aware of. I do nt fly in the us vey much because of the time difference, Southwest may suit some of you but not me. The 600does have the snapiness that is missing from the others and because of the long range tanks in the Business jet version hasa a little interest but the 7oo adds little to the mix. I have gone for a long period without it having the kind of airliner I like to fly and it is disapointing to have it delayed even more. Yes I can fly in P3d or Xplane but that may mean I decide I do not need Robert's wares.
  19. or maybe for celestial navigation if you did not leave your sextant at home.
  20. Well he will have to sell them pretty cheap if he wants people to buy more
