  1. No... unfortunately they said in their latest news post that it will come in a later fix unfortunately with no actual eta. I wish that would mean a vastly improved engine spool model even compared to what we had before but I doubt it, Ive been asking for that for years back in fsx and p3d and they always give reasons why its not possible for them.
  2. And its also why they cant deliver a realistic turbine engine spool model, because they cant use an external engine simulation like fenix can on the xbox or marketplace. Even with the current "internal" fenix engine model and its issues it still behaves closer to a cfm56 than the pmdg model does aside from engine start. Heck, even the free flybywire a320neo has a much more accurate feeling turbine engine model with proper spool up delays irrespective of the thrust lever position. You go to do a config check on the pmdg and you are already at 50% n1, and after the latest "patch" you will hit takeoff power in a second.
  3. Im usually the first to jump in and defend pmdg but its a shame that pmdg is having these issues lately, its just a bunch of empty promises and a lack of innovation of their part. Their engine spool ups have never been accurate but the state of their lnav right now is just rediciluous, and this is after waiting a decade for their lnav "2.0". For the first time in 20 years I think I am going to wait before buying their next product. I think we need to show them that they need to start innovating and brining in new features like they did back in 2013, as well as fixing basic issues. I sure hope they can get fly by wire figured out for the 777 this time, if it flies as bad as their p3d version did its gonna be a skip for me as bad as I want a longhauler.
  4. This one actually sounds very promising, displayport, custom fit, decent resolution, and OLED screens.
  5. Wow fs9 still looking decent for it age. Looks better than p3d v6! lol
  6. I did this upgrade almost exactly, except I went with the 7950x3d. Expect a pretty large jump in performance, worth it if you have the budget for it. In my case it went from stuttery in cities with LOD 100, to being buttery smooth at LOD 200 even with addon scenery and the pmdg 737 in NYC.
  7. According to discord they are working 7 days a week on it. It sounds like they are doing everything they can to get it out asap but there is still much work to be done. From what I have read on discord: The sounds are not yet implemented into the IAE model but the model itself is in beta, The visual/math/performance upgrade for V2 is not yet in beta, and I dont think the visual portion is yet in the sim which is why we dont have previews or images. It seems like its still several months away at best but they are doing everything they can and have hired some new staff to help. They have also stated on discord that they are making solid progress and everything is pretty much going as expected right now. Please remember I DO NOT represent fenix in any way, Im just a big fan of their work and spend a lot of time on their discord, and this is all guesswork.
  8. That was always the biggest problem I had with him and Aerosoft products in general. I wonder how much of that was his descision though vs Aerosoft management and their overall strategy. It seems from his job title he was in charge of customer support and interaction.
  9. By the time FLS ports their products over to msfs P3D v7 will be out
  10. I know a lot of us were waiting for some numbers on this one
  11. For sure, but they have not announced either the a319 or a321. While they would make a logical choice for future aircraft they have never even hinted that either the 321 or 319 are in their future plans, and if they decided to do those variants they would be a ways off considering their current roadmap. The a321 especially is a very different airplane under the hood too.
  12. Thats a possibility, I hope you're right! Even so I think developing a brand new airplane is still years away since they are a small team and have stated their plan is v2/IAE->cfm external model->a320 SL-> then future aircraft. Either way is a ways off on their roadmap.
  13. I do agree with that, but what we dont have is a good a321, a321NEO, a321 SL, a319 or a319 SL from fenix. Nor has fenix announced any development plans for those aircraft. With the amount of time it has taken them to still not have v2, the a320SL, or the IAE variant ready I expect many many years before we see a new fenix aircraft. I think it would be a wise choice for FSL to bring those variants into msfs first. But I would also be equally happy if they brought in an a330 first and it would probably sell better than the 321 or 319. I just think it would be more work on their end to release the a330 first since they already have a fully complete a320 series of aircraft in p3d.
  14. I would buy the fsl a320 series even though i have the fenix. The fenix is great but the fs labs simulation of the a320 is on a whole different level. And we still have no a321 or a319 with or without sharklets on the horizon.
  15. Man i miss fslabs so much, id kill to have their a321 and an a330 in msfs.
  16. Thats great news. I hope major weather improvements are on the list too. It seems like a lot of this stuff is what the community and developers like pmdg have been asking for in order to streamline the addon development process too.
  17. Is it just me or do the inibuilds a310/a300 front cockpit windows look a bit short or too low compared to the real aircraft? Noticed this way back in xplane
  18. True, but their external engine simulation is completely their own and will probably be the best simulation of a turbofan engine to date. The a300 is cool amd all, but not on my top list of airplanes to fly. It will have to offer something unique for me to purchase it and take time away from my fenix/pmdg flying.
  19. Visually it looks great, I want to hear more about the systems though. They are hyping this airplane up like its going to be the next big thing, I wonder if their systems and flight model will push the boundaries and include anything next level like fenix are doing with their external engine model.
