  1. I didn't want to give false hopes, after consulting with the lead programmer it looks like we won't be able to change the structure so easily, definitely not on a short term. If you are unable to use the add-on because of this limitation please do submit a support ticket so we can keep track of the amount of users who require the change.

  3. Could you please run a search prior to posting 2 threads about an issue already discussed in the past? It gets pretty frustrating for moderators overtime. [EDIT] All I had to do is search "QNH"
  4. We do allow multiple installations, no need to uninstall and reinstall the software. As stated above in bold letters, just send a support ticket to have your registration unlocked.
  5. The configuration is 14+134=148. The Load Manager won't allow you to select more than that. If you hover over the various areas of the LM you can see the limiting number/weight
  6. It is the normal behavior. There is no switching in the MD80... it is not a 737NG or a 747. From the Maddog Operations Manual Vol 2 Chapter 2 DESCENT PREPARATION Altitude Reference Bugs (If required)..................................................................................................SET 1/2 Set altimeter altitude reference bugs to MDA value for non precision approaches or DA value for precision approach. Radio Altimeters ...................................................................................................................................SET 1/2 CM1 and CM2 set DH value for precision approach or 500 feet in case of non-precision or visual approach. MDA/DA is the minimums in bold on the Jepp charts, DH is the respective value in brackets with reference to height over the terrain. This procedure is an extract from the real operations manual of a specific operator.
  7. In the load manager your RealLight must be deactivated. Reset it to the resolution you'd like.
  8. In the MD-80 FMS the format xxx/ is not accepted. You always have to associate it to an altitude.
  9. It’s not only dependant on the temp, but the temp vs dew point. You will see it with dew point close to oat. if you wish to test if it works set them manually from the sim weather.
  10. What switch are you referring to please?
  11. If you got that message above FL100 you probably omitted one of the required fields in the PERF INIT page.
  12. Be advised with crz FL<100 the FMS could have problems computing the predictions and give the aforementioned message. Please ensure you select minimum CRZ FL 100 for now. We’ll look into the issue.
  13. We are looking into the option for FSUIPC users.
  14. We can’t do anythin from out side. PFPX needs to be updated.
  15. You might soon realize it doesn't work. Most of the routes are truncated/incomplete.
  16. If you downloaded it yesterday then then you have the latest one, are you experiencing any issue?
  17. I'm still running it on 4.1 with no issue.
  18. Hi Chris, the failure would occur randomly between 0 and 1000 hrs. There is no way to see what failures are active during the flight. You'd have to troubleshoot and figure it out yourself, no EICAS for Maddog pilots :-) However upon landing certain failures would be "deferred" by the engineer and end up in the MEL list. You can keep them deferred until their rectification period expires, or fix them straight away... depending on your company's maintenance budget. P.S. Great decision on the return to stand, as the DC EMER BUS OFF is a NO GO item.
  19. Interesting question. I think (but somebody more knowledgable might correct me), that it is not really related to the presence of EFIS or not. That system (which our version does not have), allows you to unslave (disconnect) the compass system from the flux valve, making it somehow like a basic Cessna compass system, where you have to update the heading vs. magnetic compass every so often. In our variant the flux valve is always slaved to to the Attitude Heading Reference Unit
  20. Check in the Operation Manual Vol 2, Checklist, you will find expanded normal procedures which explain also how and when to set the bank limiter. In the same Volume you will find the Procedures and Techniques. They are in the Maddog docs folder.
  21. Note that Bank Angle Limit Selector selects bank limit only in certain modes (e.g. in NAV the maximum bank is automatically limited by the FMS computations).
  22. Please open a support ticket, specifying all details, AS weather, FS weather, metric/US unit used. We are going to look at it.
