  1. For those who have downloaded Malaga and have no jetways, there is a known problem where the installer incorrectly names two files. Post 20 on the below link will give you what you need and a patch to fix it... http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/114886-malaga-installer-dont-ask-for-sode/&page=1
  2. Ctrl + K worked - thanks! No idea how I managed to press that in the first place to turn it off. I figured it was something simple. You are my hero - thanks!
  3. I will try Ctrl K later today, thanks. The axis and buttons are all good and correctly assigned within the controls menu.
  4. Everything was running fine and then I load up a new flight and no good. The joystick is connected and shows up in the p3d controls menu, with axis assigned, I can calibrate etc. The hat works and I can pan around the VC, but none of the buttons or flight controls now work. I have tried multiple aircraft and airports and reset my computer several times, but still no good. Also if I switch to mouse yoke, that also does not seem to do anything to the flight controls and doesnt turn the aircraft. Any advice of what to do to fix this? I am wondering if I just knocked some random key which turns off flight conrols or something. ______ The only changes to my system was that I downloaded the new Malaga airport last night and was trying to figure out how to get SODE working.
  5. Just downloaded it and fooled around for a few minutes. First impressions are that it is a great airport. The night lighting is pretty decent and the frame rates are excellent - right up there with Prague. Which is one of my best Aerosoft airports in terms of FPS. Also got to love an airport which includes a modeled Ikea next to it!
  6. Yep, shame no P3D discounted. But a nice deal for someone with FSX.
  7. Did they model much of the surrounding area? I always remember the San Miguel plant as you drive into the airport.
  8. You are saving about $15 on the 777 and 737. It is rare you see any PMDG items priced lower than RRP.
  9. Full range of PMDG products (some boxed and some downloads), including 737, 777, 747, MD-11 and Jetstream. 777-200 for FSX and FSX SE only 67 euros! http://en.shop.aerosoft.com/eshop.php?action=catalog_list&s_group_id=319&shopfilter_category=Flight%20Simulation&s_design=DEFAULT&s_language=english
  10. I have been looking forward to this too - thanks for the heads up!
  11. It was out about a month ago. https://www.fullterrain.com/product/ftxgolcna
  12. My first screenshot which I have posted here. BA1 coming into land today at a very cloudy EINN while on route to KJFK. Just stock P3D scenery with Orbx trees and AS16+REX. Who said the Aerosoft Airbuses are now done! :-)
  13. Sure. As long as it has a USB connector. Take a look at the Go Flight or Virtual Fly TQ6.
  14. Check out RealAir's Duke Turbine and Lancair Legacy. I think they are right up there with A2A. Both can be easily fitted with the Flight1 GTN 650 and 750.
  15. In the USA no prices include tax. It is always added when you go checkout and pay. Unlike somewhere like UK where tax is already calculated into the sales price. With that being said if FSL is collecting tax on the front end they must have an office in your country. Otherwise how are they going to forward the tax onto the government? Sales tax is just a pass through and the company needs a tax ID and file a corporate sales tax return for every place where it gathers tax from. I have an online business and only collect tax from my state, Virginia. Then once a month I file a sales tax return with the state and send a bank payment for the sales tax which I have collected. If someone buys from another state, say TX, and my business is not registered in that state I can not collect sales tax. So it is on the buyer to report the purchase on his annual tax return and then pay the sales tax directly to the state at that time. Obviously some states do not even have sales tax so this is not required.
  16. I do both BA and AA virtual (aavirtual.net - there are several different ones). It gives me a good combination and variety of aircraft - plus I guess they are One World partners so I am not flying rivals. Since the US Airways merger you pretty much have a full complement of either Boeing or Airbus - plus Dash 8! I can fly around the UK and Europe or anywhere in the USA. I especially like taking the airbus from Miami for short 1-2 hour trips down to some nice destinations in the Carribbean. AA is nice, because there is no checking in every hour and seems a little more laid back. But still with good quality ACARS and interface.
  17. I have Blue Sky Sounds. No issues on my end with the AS airbuses.
  18. I sent them an email around May and they told me August. I guess if you email them September they will say October. I have given up with these guys and come to the realization that there are way better products out there. It seems like the Virtual Fly throttle is the way to go. Although at a significantly higher price point. I guess as with anything you get what you pay for.
  19. No complaints about price here either. My wife spends more than that on a pair of shoes or a handbag.
  20. I have the Thrustmaster T-16000M Flight Stick and find that it works great with the Aerosoft airbuses. So assume it will be the same with this. Pedals will add more to the experience, but you will be fine with just a joystick with a third (twist) axis for the rudder.
  21. Note with a 6700k, you will also need a new Z170 type motherboard and DDR4 RAM. So I guess you need to figure out if getting an extra 5-10 FPS is worth the $550-600 in cost for the upgrade.
  22. We are kind of going off topic here, but I believe his rate is (was) $30 an hour. You go through Patreon to schedule the time. He will then remote into your computer and help you fix any bugs or help with any flight sim software issues.
  23. From what I have seen thus far the FSL A320 just doesn't look quite right to me - too pointy? I will be interested to see how the P3D version turns out. Plus to be honest I am happy with my Aerosoft, I think this version may be too advanced for me anyhow. I am more interested in the Aerosoft A330 release - hopefully not many more months...
