Thanks, probably this will be the solution, then. -

Weird to talk about complaining when someone is asking a question.. -
Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024
Paladin2005 replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Im not talking about MSFS2020, im not talking about Active Sky. 😉 Amigos, what is this thread about? I will tell you the answer: MSFS24 will bring 24hrs historical weather, obviously. Thats what we discuss here. My question is still, how could this be handled in SIMBRIEF, for example to generate a flight with - lets say, by coincidence, 24 hrs - old weather data? Maybe i ask my question the other way: How is it currently possible in SIMBRIEF to take OTHER THAN CURRENT LIVE WEATHER? Is there a hidden button to enter different weather data? Is there a premium function that allows to modify the weather for the route calculation? Why am i asking this: Because, 24h historical weather in MSFS24 will have no benefit, if you can not tell SIMBRIEF to use this 24h old weather. Is my question now understood? -
Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024
Paladin2005 replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Yes, again: How do i tell Simbrief to take 24 hrs old weather, when MSFS introduces 24 hrs old weather. Nothing to do with Active Sky. This thread is not about Active Sky. -

But im not talking of Active Sky. im Talking of MSFS historical weather and how do i use this in Simbrief. AFAIK Simbrief always uses the current weather. -

24 hours at least covers all of us who want to fly daytime with the correct weather when we sit at our computer in the evening after a hard day of work...thats fine, i think.- 75 replies

What a Performance Upgrade!
Paladin2005 replied to iFlySimX's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
After 20 years of Intel Systems, i switched to the Ryzen 7800 X3D last december (i kept my 3080Ti) I can tell you, that was a huge improvement. MSFS extremely smooth on 4K with most settings on ultra, LOD=200, DLSS... This AM5 system has exactly the same stability as all my old Intel systems before. -
I like your enthusiasm with this very positive mood! 😃

Octavi IFR1 Knobs Not Working
Paladin2005 replied to cchiozza's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Had no conflict so far. Working with HC Bravo and the IFR1, but i use it since the beginning with Mobiflight. -
I have tried several settings and situations now (in MSFS, Farming Sim 22, DCS) with Beam Eye. I am a long term TrackIR user and would really like to avoid the Hat + reflector or the wireless IR sender on my Headset, so maybe im not completely objective. My summary: I think, Beam Eye is not really bad as a cheap solution, but it is far away from the precision, smoothness and reaction time of TrackIR. In my opinion still unbeatable. My critics: - The position is always a little bit jittery (like in a bad VR headset). When you zoom on the FMC, its hard to hit the clickspots sometimes. - Looking up/down and especially backwards is not really working good. E.g. in the Farmin Sim 22 i often need to look back or in DCS in a Dogfight, you need to look everwhere. - I have to recenter very often. - Smoothness is far from TrackIR And yes, i have also considered and tested different lightning conditions, with and without glasses etc in my gaming room. So for me, experiment finished with a NO GO.

Does Simbrief look at the weather?
Paladin2005 replied to tup61's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I asked for "neutral" weather calculation, e.g. flying with zero wind and clouds. Or with yesterdays weather which i would like to setup manually. -

Anybody an idea? -
Does Simbrief look at the weather?
Paladin2005 replied to tup61's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
If i dont want to fly with real weather - is it possible to define in Simbrief how the weather conditions should be? For example if i want to fly with the MSFS standard weather, few clouds, no winds... -

Can anybody tune the autopilot altitude with the Honeycomb Bravo? -
Fenix A320 - ECAM F/CTL L SIDESTICK FAULT
Paladin2005 replied to Echoes's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Same happens with a Virpil WarBRD Base and the Alpha Stick. Sometimes - but only sometimes - i move the Joystick full range during FCTL tests before takeoff, and then the message disappears. -
Fenix A320 Block 2 is released
Paladin2005 replied to DAD's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Is it still not possible to use the Honeycomb Bravo Autopilot controls to change HDG, ALT etc? Thought this was on the list to be implemented... -
Fenix A320 V2 Block2 features deep dive video
Paladin2005 replied to lwt1971's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Nice progress. The only things i currently need to have more fun with the Fenix: - full support of my Honeycomb autopilot controls without further 3rd party software - better performance (still missing 10 fps to other aircraft) - having the MCDU on my tablet (workarounds still cost me 20 fps) -

PMDG 737 CDU/FMC on Tablet?
Paladin2005 replied to Konterhalbe's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Using the Aviaworx on my iPad since the beginning of the PMDG 737 @ MSFS and it works quite well. Maybe 1 crash in 3 years. You can install everything, buy a license key for 737 FMC, then connect and then GO... Just need the Server running on your PC, then you open the FMC via Browser on your Pad.
