  1. Install is really not different than any other software. Not difficult.
  2. I will buy the addon for CGX for MSFS just like I did for FSX:SE.
  3. Wait for the first airforceproud95 video showing crazy fliers rolling 747's, ect
  4. I have on MANY occasions use more than 16GB according to MSI afterburner software. The highest number I have seen is 31GB. I'm not too concerned about the 31GB number as this happened only once and optimization has been an ongoing thing. BUT, I would bet you will want more than 16GB for a wide-open experience.
  5. I install the initial download on C drive through windows store, go to apps and features to relocate it to my non C nvme drive. Start the application and it wants to download the majority of the content. You can specify the location of this as well. I have 2x500GB pcie-4 x4 in RAID 0 (1TB total space) allocated for MSFS and rolling cache. If I decide to undo the RAID, I dedicate the entire 2nd 500GB for rolling cache.
  6. 32gb is very necessary, I have 64GB just in case things get crazy down the development road for addons, ect.
  7. You should plan on floppy disks, software updates will be delivered on floppy disks via mail.
  8. This is my concern as well. We all have seen the published known issues/bugs for EACH aircraft. I wonder how the systems/fly-ability is going to be for the aircraft we alpha testers have not used/tested yet. At least fixes are available as updates and your not stuck.
  9. ChaoticBeauty, I think 1 of 2 things should happen. Because of your continuous dedication and contribution to these forums for the duration of the known development of MSFS, I would love to see MS/Asobo donate a beast of a PC to you OR you make a way people can donate $$$ to go towards building/buying a beast of a PC. You're the man, cant wait to fly with you in the sim!!
  10. You are in a way breaking NDA by talking about the game you are testing.
  11. If I had to guess, 12 core cpu, 1080ti, 32gb ram, 1440p
  12. I'm hoping the Icon A5 will be available on alpha 5 release. I have very high hopes for alpha 5 because how close it is to beta.
  13. Do you have a suggestion as to what airport to start at?
  14. @MatthewS, I agree with @HiFlyer on this, MSFS current trees are a problem. X-planes trees are a BIGGER problem. I would take the lesser of two evils, wouldnt you? Being that MSFS is still in development, there is a GOOD chance that this will be resolved. I'm an alpha tester and really looking forward to alpha 5 to see what improvements will be implemented.
  15. Thank you guys for the suggestions. Looks like i'm gonna have a lot of flying to do.
  16. I don't typically fly GA in flight sims but I would like to in MSFS. Please give me some suggestions as where the best bush flying locations are to test and enjoy.
  17. A big milestone is for bing to update its map data. This would be good for everyone.
  18. gamepass subscription, guaranteed. j/k triggered peeps
  19. More pines for this dedicated guy. The bat phone is in good order I see. good to see more videos are being included.
  20. I got in the alpha guys!!!!!! Simtom, its 4770k and gtx 1070 time.
  21. @ 5:50 is that the papi on the taxiway just ahead? :0 don't hit those.
  22. ping: 10ms download: 113.25Mbps upload: 11.36Mbps no data limit
  23. This part is what I dont like about the alpha process. If they can only have x number of alpha people using at the same time, it would be nice to have a new group replace the older group to get some fresh eyes looking for unfixed bugs. I also wonder how many got accepted that stopped testing it over time. What a waste that would be. I suppose MS would know how infrequent someone logs in and could react accordingly.
