I hope they put the most up-to-date data in place for the little city of Wayland Michigan. Its over 4 year old data and my house doesnt even exist yet in current MSFS. If they don't update......no buy!! oh, wait.......I already bought the sim.

unfortunately a lot of people are gonna have to repurchase all their ram..many have 4x8GB. I knew better and got 4x16GB

in a couple years with this sim you might need more than 32GB. i've seen 29GB used.

my exact strategy/gamble too. Thank goodness our gamble paid off and the new chips are better than Intel.

I have seen this too. That is why I went 64GB because over the next few years I can't guarantee it won't go above 32GB used. $150 extra got me the golden ticket of not a possibility of running out of RAM.

My 2 cents: hopefully better AMD radeon drivers will get it closer to the rtx3080 4k performance. BUT the 6800XT has 16GB VRAM vs 10GB VRAM. This should help.

these two factors wouldnt change performance by having less ram then adding ram back though. RAM amount was the only difference here.

not trying to be a detective here but can you tell us your ram config? you said you have 4 sticks and (1) got dislodged. I would have guessed you have 4 sticks of 8GB so taking one away would leave you with 24GB, not 16GB. Also, someone correct me if i'm wrong but taking 1 away from 4 would also make it single channel vs dual channel ram configuration. This could explain your stutters. Let me know if i'm assuming incorrectly on your ram stick sizes.

options are always a good feature, why take that away? side note- fuel starts at 50% unless changed manually.

@Noel Just so I'm clear about this, the phrase "a lot of people" could be very accurate here. example: 12% of the people that did have problems could be 5,000 people. Thats a lot of people....get my point? I would be more interested in the statistic of what is more problematic....MS Store or Steam platform. I still stay behind my observation of complaints I notice more often about issues with the MS Store version. You can defend it all you want but I'm gonna recommend to people what has worked great for me so far.

So its just coincidental that i'm currently reading about the new patch and i'm on page 4. I see someone is having an issue through the MS store. I'm just stating that when I read through the forums I notice more issues with MS store than Steam. Why would I not recommend a solution that could help him avoid some probable issues?

If you wait til you get burned again by the MS store version it just might be too late at that point. Start the process right now. what do you have to lose? You can even put the reason for asking for a refund by saying your gonna turn around and purchase the steam version per recommendation by the community.

Honestly I would try to get a refund and buy it through steam...I did. I have read through a lot of topics from the beginning of release and noticed a lot of people having problems with the MS store version of the purchase. Get a REFUND and join the steam peace of mind.

Does anyone know if things like the speed the ai planes taxi on the runway can be changed? I like that ai use the high speed turn offs for runways but often times it takes a while for them to exit. This extra time makes for other ai need to go around. If the slow taxi speed could be increased, the need for go arounds would be decreased quite a bit.

they have quoted avsim many times, so yes they will hear some but maybe not all.

8x is just as good
