    you probably shouldnt be bothered because it was your actions and decision that produced that result, my loss of the log book was not my choice. Not the same so I dont see why you would compare this loss with an example like that. just saying. Pretty much everything else in the program can be redone such as settings, aircraft and scenery reinstall but losing the history of the flights that I have accomplished feels personal and what hits home.

    I dont agree that it is getting better, My opinion is that it has gone backwards in some ways from the initial release.

    Make sure you set the fuel to 100%. like me, you will want to fly for a long time.

    I have flown downtown tokyo with the heli and have discovered there are MANY skyscrapers with landing pads. have fun, make sure you try it at night as well. good times. If you dont have a VR headset yet I would recommend the HP G2. You will enjoy to no end flying around in the heli in VR landing from one rooftop to another. My latest is flying between the building in manhattan at street level. Being you have a 3090 like me, you will get adequate performance and very good quality.

    pray the asobo fix the performance issue they introduced in a recent world update. that aside, you could use msi afterburner to overclock the gpu clock and memory clock and run the port royal benchmark to test stability. you will probably get a few fps so could be worthwhile. if you experience ANY instabilities in msfs after overclock, dial it back or eliminate overclock. stability is preferred over slight fps gain. I dont have mine overclocked.

    So if asobo next update makes the performance worse again, should i further decrease the lod to 50?. maybe a year from now i will have to use 640x480 resolution to maintain acceptable 30+ fps. do you understand what the main issue here is?

    I have the same problem, what do you recommend for me? my fps goes from 35fps 10fps or so for a bit. system specs in signature.

    has anyone else noticed that when you open your doors on the heli, it opens the doors of the multiplayer as well. I noticed that last night when flying.

    wish we had the same freedom for the simulator. how nice would that be? major FPS performance reduction? delete and replace with previous version.

    were you playing around 3/4pm eastern server? I was flying around in the corporate livery for a few hours in Manhattan. I was flying with two others for a while, could have been you.

    ya no doubt a horrible idea. I thought for sure they would have at least a questionnaire to weed the useless out. They could also prioritize users who were providing useful feedback throughout the alpha/beta period. How funny would it be that the 300 people all had nvidia cards and the new update crippled amd cards. didnt test because........ smh the people that make these choices make more money than me.

    True, but we all probably thought they were capable of keeping to a schedule and not break things left and right. The truth is right in front of us. The fact that I get decent fps then I get closer to even my small local international airport (kgrr) it drops to about 8 fps for a bit really is the biggest issue i've had so far. I would take terrain spikes over that any day.

    @MediaHypeTrain Any way we could get back our copilot? I would also love to see an option to add some passengers displayed like the copilot was. BTW great work on this heli. I love flying it. I've been putting more time in this than any other aircraft right now.

    but would they actually delay a release because of some big issues or push it through anyways with promises of hotfixes later? I think they need to scrap the roadmap and not have so much pressure on themselves to meet deadlines. You know if you have to delay, it makes the upcoming update window closer and maybe less focus and time available to do good work.

    my biggest issue right now is still the huge fps loss when approaching an airport (getting as low as 6 fps). its way more severe than it has been since the uk update. is there a topic for q&a that pertains to this exact issue?

    so my 3090 has no advantage? if that is the case, I should just buy a xbox, especially if it runs without problems. I no doubt wont do that because of all my peripherals and VR, but you get my point. For someone starting out, this might be the best avenue.

    well it seems tomorrow is the day of reckoning to see if they fix the performance issue.

    yes, it will get complaints if the "fix" either doesnt work at all/well or it also breaks something else in the process. If it does fix it, meaning performance is as what it was before the updates, then we should all be smiling.

    I agree, but I have the best video card on the market and at the moment that doesnt get past the problem of the limited by main thread performance bug going on.
