Having made an airport in ADE everything is going great except that on some gates there is no tug. I have tried various gate / jetway positions but cannot find any correlation there. The two gates to the left of the aircraft are empty but the gate in front has one. Amy suggestions anyone?

Hi I use P3DV4.5 and brought Taxi2Gate TKPK St. Kitts & Nevis (Karibik). Officially its only for P3DV3, but I manage to install it, and the Airport looks fine, much better then default ... (I use ORBX Base & Vector & LC NA & SA) As other users wrote, they had problems with black autogene buildings around the airport. There are 2 Layers in the Scenery Library , the TKPK Airport Layer and below the TKPK Terrain layer. If I deactivate the TKPK Terrain layer, the ORBX Buildings "take over" around the airport , but I have some trees at the apron, where the planes are parking. Can I remove these Trees wits ADE (Airport Design Editor) with some kind of Exclusions? Is there a tutorial out there how it works P3DV4? Thanks Erik

In case anyone gets the same or similar problems FSX Trying to fly out of LPMA with VOX there seemed to be a problem - ATC became "stuck" looped and "failed". No FATAL ERROR though but no continuing ATC. Examining the BGL with Airport design editor revealed that "TOWER" and "GROUND" had the same frequency. 118.350. Using ADE I was able to delete the "GROUND" from "LPMA_AFX_OP02.BGL " in FSX\AEROSOFT\MADEIRAXEVOLUTION\SCENERY. All fine now. Oh yes, run scenery indexer again after the change. Anyone want the file if they dont want to mess with ADE just e -mail - //mod edit - email address removed// Cheers John

Hi, It’s been half a year now that I am using VoxATC (7.41) and I am very happy with it, definitely it gives another dimension to ATC in the Sim. I am using P3dV4 at this stage with 737 home cockpit. I have encountered the following problem with a scenery, I assume it is related to AFCAD (ADE) somehow. LEAS Asturias airport: default was checked with VoxATC and works absolutely fine. The addon scenery was checked with default ATC and works absolutely fine. All the AI traffic is custom built. Now the addon LEAS scenery has the following problem with VOXATC: - the AI traffic is parked correctly but as soon as it is cleared to taxi it starts to move very very slowly just into the terminal building and then stays there. - With proper aircraft you get the clearance and it’s the only scenery where the light to hold short do not appear, the red hold short line is at actual runway threshold. - When cleared takeoff (Circuit flight) when reporting downwind VOXATC stops replying anything. In the communication window you can see blue text that you have reported downwind or full stop landing, but no reply what so ever. This is the only scenery where I have noticed such a behavior. Already checked for double AFCADS, checked AFCAD in ADE and all looks correct, default ATC works absolutely fine. Have re-installed the whole sim, installed only ORBX and the scenery and same problem. Anybody had anything similar? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Sergej

Wondered if anyone has tinkered with ADE in P3DV4,I have used it in the past in FSX and would like to design an Airport or two and also add a few buildings here and there with ADE. I have searched reference info regarding its use in P3DV4, seems some have designed airports with this tool, information is kind of grey rather than black or white on this, before I have a go has anyone got any experience or input regarding ADE, cheers guys.

Great news guys... A new version of ADE is up... 1.79 Already doing wonders.... check this out... only took 30 seconds... Default KSEA... An apron missing in the main terminal and another one near 34R 3 doritos later...

Hello, I am using ADE right now and am wondering what the "x" stands for after the airline code (ex, UALX, AALX). Could somebody tell me what this means? I don't know if it's a preferred symbol or regional symbol, or something completely different. Thanks!

Hi I brought yesterday Mumbai Airport VABB from Stinns Pacific. Because the GSX Profil was really bad, I startet to edit the GSX 2 Profile with new Jetway Positions etc. Then I thought I could edit some Parking positions and Taxi lines??? I must say I am completely new in this topic! But I installed Airport Design Editor and P3D SDK. I opened the VABB_ADEP4_ADE.bgl file in Airport Design Editor and I could see the schematic Airport layout. I could change the Parking Position, so that a AI plane would stand on another place, but I could not found out how I could change the "graphic" yellow taxi line etc. Is there an easy way to do it, or a good Tutorial at Youtube? Thanks for help! Erik

Is there a forum for Airport Design Editor for MSFS? I am trying to set up a project and cannot find information on what to enter in the box "Output Folder" in the Project section of F20 Project Properties?

I am about to re-install fs9 because I was having problems with FSDT KORD, the dreaded ctd involving G3D.dll and mfc70.dll. I believe the ctd was caused by an overlap of AFCAD and ADE that I tried to use to get ai aircraft off the runway quicker at departure. I had read a post somewhere that upgrading AFCAD would reduce time ai spent getting off the runway. Too often an ai would get clearance for takeoff, taxi onto the active runway, and then creep....creep....creep....until finally stopping, then begin the takeoff roll. Of course the aircraft arriving, who was 9 miles out on final now has to go around because it took this departure so much time to get going. I see it most with the heavier aircraft, not so much with ERJ or CRJ. Questions:1. Should I use ADE or AFCAD to for airport changes? I am using fs9...2. Will ADE reduce the creeping of departures, or is this a problem solved in the braking section of the aircraft.cfg file?3. By exclusively using either AFCAD or ADE will this eliminate the ctd of G3D.dll and/or mfc70.dll?Thanks in advanceJohn

Okay here's the problem, I recently downloaded scenery for Norway from http://www.flightsim.no/fsno/ I do not speak Norwegian and I amnot a member of their forum so before attempting to join their forum and asking them I thought I would try and get an answer here becausein the past I have almost always got one, some very knowledgable people in these forums so you never know. So I don't waste time tryingto explain I thought I would take a screen shot of the little black squares which say unknown object, I am hopetul I may find the anwserhere. I have runway12 libraries loaded and thought maybe I need ez-scenery, but however rather than pay out 29 USD it would be prudentto ask here, if no luck then I will be forced to try the scandinavian forum. Thanks to anyone that reads this thread and a big thank you to anyone who is able to answer the question on what these blacksquares represent.

Head on over to the FSDeveloper for the the first public release of ADE for MSFS. It's a well-tested alpha, but it is missing features and has a few bugs. One can use ADE to import both FSX and MSFS stock airports as a starting point. Most ADE features for P3d and FSX work in the MSFS version. There's more details at FSDeveloper ADE forum.
