Hi folks, I haven't done this for quite some time but today I took the plunge and flew a fantastic flight from Anchorge Int'l (PANC) to Juneau Int'l (PAJN) with the fabulous PMDG 737 NGX. After a successful engine start of our today's aircraft N617AS we are taxiing out to runway 33 for an early 8:05 am departure as Alaska Airlines 62. Lined up with runway 33, heads-up display down and advancing the throttles. Gear up and we are leaving Anchorage Int'l airport below us. NOEND1 departure is leading us to the north, then east and finally on a southern course. What a great name for a SID. Still dark outside but the sun is slowly rising. I really love those HUD operations. A bit later and further - the sun at its full glory and cruising along the coastline of Southern Alaska. Not only the sun looks stunning, so does the open sea. N617AS from a different perspective. Descending into Juneau. Fantastuc view on Alaska's mountains covered by snow. One of a few clouds our 737 soars through on approach to Juneau. On finals for runway 08. Excuse the high vertical speed I haven't used the HUD for visuals for some time. The lead-in lightning system guides us the way in. Not really necessary in such good and clear weather conditions. Last shot, while taxiing to the gate. Well thanks for viewing and comments welcome. Best regards,

Aerosoft's having a sale that includes a few products I've had my eye on, but I'm not sure which would be the best one to get. Out of these, which would you recommend? I'm mainly trying to choose between Antarctica X, Anchorage X, and the Twin Otter. The Twin Otter looks really good, but I don't have any addon scenery, and I've been wanting to start building up my scenery library. What do those of you that own these products think?Thanks,boeing247

This is a really old plane -- both in reality and in X-Plane. Still, the model is one of my favorites. Next morning ...
