  1. You need to enable the MCE-PF3 interfacing. It's done via the "PF3_MCE.ini" file present in PF3 installation folder. Set "Active=1". After that PF3 will generate a "Clearance.log" in its \Logs\ folder which MCE uses to give the FO awareness so he can know when a reply is due etc.. Although rare, some call-signs might confuse the FO. For instance, when he gets aware a new ATC message has been logged, anything that starts with your call-sign will be listened and reacted to. Other messages are ignored. Can't recall, there is an option in PF3 where the call-sign might be preceded with some prefix. Don't use that option.
  2. In "General" tab of MCE UI, click <More options> button In "Advanced options" panel, click <View config> button. mce.ini config file will open in Notepad. Ensure.... [OPTIONS] GroundServicesMode=GSX Should work as long as GSX is always your preferred ground services. I mean, no need for automatic switching based on detection.
  3. Before MCE automatically switches to GSX mode, it checks... 1 - A folder named "fsdreamteam-gsx-pro" is present inside \Community\ folder and has a wasm file named "fsdt-msfs-bridge.wasm" is present inside \Modules\ subfolder. Perhaps you renamed your GSX folder in \Community\ folder. 2 - It then fires the key combination to trigger GSX window. 3 - Waits a bit to check if process "Couatl64_MSFS.exe" is running. Only when those conditions are met will the switch happen. I assume you have MCE installed to default folder.
  4. Thanks for the heads-up. We're on same boat as Pilot2Atc. Right now MCE is working fine in Windows 11 and I don't see Microsoft deliberately breaking apps (they tend to ensure compatibility for as long as possible). Did a little research and it appears they are just moving away from the usual speech bar which gets all apps to share the same speech recognizer instance to a model where each app designed for "speech access" will accept speech natively. Probably because telemetry is showing them hardly anyone uses Cortana or even bothers to start the built-in speech recognizer. By the way, this is why MCE creates an exclusive instance of the speech engine, rather than the shared one. The latter would cause mayhem as any speech could be interpreted as a command to open "Microsoft Notepad", "open browser", Windows menu selection etc.. very disruptive. Also, MCE uses the "Command & Control" feature of the speech engine which performs very well, as opposed to "full dictation" which is known to be unreliable. These days, all PCs have tons of RAM installed, so it's easy to grant each application its own instance of the speech engine. They are pushing the new feature and now considering previous interface as legacy, which means, maybe beyond Window 12 (or later), some apps may need to adapt so they can drop the older interface. In any case, if we have to adapt 4 years down the line, so be it. .
  5. You can get it from this link: http://www.multicrewxp.com/MCE-Demo.zip And here is the one for X-Plane Edition: http://www.multicrewxp.com/MceForXPlane-Demo.exe Links on website will be re-activated as soon as possible.
  6. In latest patch (V3.0.7.8) mechanic behavior has changed in regard to this. From now on, when GSX fuel truck arrives, he'll take note of the current fuel load. Then waits for about 90 seconds and re-checks the fule quantity. If it has increased by at least 300 kilos, he'll assume refuelking is done by other means (GSX or other). If not, he'll start prompting for the fuel to load so MCE can do it. Not sure if 90 seconds is adequate.
  7. Which MCE version are you on? In more recent versions, when MCE is unable to create the flight plan in \My Documnts\ folder, it will write it to C drive as last resort. If you are on V3.0.7.0 or higher, use the patch found here and manually add/replace files. Then generate a new log and check whether you can see a "Simbrief_fpln.dat" in C:\ drive.
  8. Please use the latest patch and we'll take it from there. Thanks
  9. Thanks for feedback. Have been monitoring this thread. Thanks for reporting those two switches. This is an example of what happens when a plane is updated. They were working fine for ages. In most recent PMDG update, it appears the SDK no longer provides access to AircraftModel variable, required to distinguish which variant has IFE + Galley or just galley. We had to find another way to work this out. Should now behave as before with the new patch.
  10. Thanks. Forgot to ask you to submit your checklist for that plane to support via e-mail. Thanks
  11. Please open the aircraft.cfg for this plane and post the [fltsim.X] sections only.
  12. We use Microsoft Installer technology. (*.msi files) When you install MCE, Microsoft installer will keep a backup copy of the msi file in C:\ProgramData\... folder. The purpose being, if you accidentally delete a "vital" file from \Multi Crew Experience\ installation folder, it will detect that and automatically restore the file from the cached file. It's possible you are using "clean-up" tools that are messing with those files. A new package is due for upload tomorrow. For now, I suggest the following. Check anti-virus vault to see if any file was put in quarantine Un-install MCE via Windows Control Panel. Do not delete anything manually Install the latest version to default path. Use the patch to manually replace files.
  13. The ramp agent is separate from Mechanic. He's expected to pop-in when engines are off and battery is on. You can hear ramp agent "Jane" in this vid. There are different agents depending on where you depart from. Their job is to coordinate with GSX. You can ask "Jane we need catering" and she will take care of the rest. <media> </media> In MCE user interface, go to <Sim> tab and check the green text is saying "on ground engines off". If it's not the case, it would explain why he's not introducing him/herself.
  14. With planes like the Fenix A320 that can import flight plans into FMC via a few CDU clicks, the cco-pilot will do that. For others, it's not possible to insert radio navs and waypoints for the following reasons. There is no way to read anything from CDU. When you insert say "MTG" as waypoint, there is the possibility the FMC will suggest a list of NAVAIDS with same name and you have to confirm which one to insert. Never mind the "discontinuity lines" The relocate aircraft feature is now a "warp me there" in all supported flight sims, MSFS, Prepar3D, FSX. move the plane to Franfurt (will take you to gate 1 at frankfurt) move the plane to Echo Delta Delta Foctrot gate one zero three Once at an airport you could jump from one runway to another (or to a gate) without mentioning the airport name or ICAO ID relocate the plane to runway zero seven left warp the plane to runway two five right. let's go to Miami etc.. For most world major cities, you could try the airport name or city's name, for marginal ones, specify the ICAO ID. No need to go back to MSFS main menu. When you get to new location and you're not sure where you are because it's dark out there or you are a BVI pilot, wait for things to settle and then ask copilot "confirm position". He should let you know the gate or specific runway you're at.
  15. The Makerunways for X-Plane only updates airports. What do you mes by it doesn't work and global airports? Product page has been updated, even though like with our other software, we have built a grace period of 1 day and a few runs so that the purchaser can opt out and not request the activation file if not happy with what he/she sees. We added support for XP-12 free of charge, even though most of the customers for this add-on did that with XP-10 & XP-11 Reading traffic is being considered as a free update.
