November 17, 200718 yr Commercial Member Jim,As you know I have personally tried the MD-11 at the Avsim Fancon and I can answer your question, yes the virtual cockpit shows aging cockpit textures. The yoke shows wear at certain places, so does the throttle, there's finger smudges around the autopilot panel and so on. I don't know about the 2D panel, I'll let PMDG answer that question, but the virtual cockpit shows wear and tear. Many simmers will be happy to have that as it has been asked for a long time.Cheers,Jason Brown Jason Brown - Exterior Model Engineer,http://www.precisionmanuals.comSpecs: MSI Z97 Gaming 7 | Intel i7 4970K OC @ 4.6GHz | Gigabyte GTX970 G1 4GB | 16GB (2X8GB) G.Skill Trident | Corsair Air 540 White Case | Corsair AX750 750W PSU | 27" Samsung SyncMaster 275T+ | 27" Samsung S27D850 | 13" Wacom Cintiq | Windows 10 Professional x64
November 17, 200718 yr I hope there will be an option for a panel switcher. Although I like the idea a having hotspots, since I fly a few different aircraft in FS regularly and some with hotspots already, I find it difficult to remember which hotspots are where in which aircraft. So maybe for those who like to use the panel switcher, we could pull one up if we need like how we can click below the compass in the 744. Also, you said if we move the mouse to the left we can turn it anti-clockwise and to the right, clockwise. But can we also still use the mouse wheel? I also liked the left-click one direction, right-click the other direction in the 74 but providing we can still use the mouse wheel, I'll be fine.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.virtualpilots.org/signatures/vpa296.png Ryan Gamurot

November 18, 200718 yr Author Commercial Member >Michael, on another topic, when is ServInfo 3 arriving? If I was working on ServInfo 3 at the same time, I guess you had to wait for the MD-11 release another couple of years :-)Sorry, I have stopped any development on ServInfo since 2003 and I don't intend to come back, I have absolutely no time for that anymore. Anyway, I don't think there is much to add to this software, except for the database updates. I hear that VATSIM has started an effort to do a global data update on airports, FIRs, airlines etc. Michael FrantzeskakisPrecision Manuals Development Grouphttp://www.precisionmanuals.com

November 18, 200718 yr OHH my........Please give us some VC shots or just shoot me:-wave As for the VC I really hope you'll stay with the: Left click = Counter clock---Right click = Clockwise, dial-rotation method. It's the most intuitive method I know and love.I truly am @ the edge of my seat here.BTW, I hope you (PMDG) will be slipping Brian York some info, in advance, so he can start early on his FS2Crew version on this baby.Golli.
