May 1, 200818 yr Finally I can run 8xs/16x and have no more black a/c display windows or issues with third party apps like FSPassengers opening windows within FS. It looks to me like all issues are resolved. They seem to perform incredibly smooth with a great IQ. This is the first positive experience with an Nvidia driver in years ;)Enjoy the heads up,Yay...-PaulPrimary RigLiquid CooledIntel C2D E8500 445X9.5 @ 4.25Asus Maximus Extreme2 gigs OCZ Reaper DDR3 1333Dual OC'd XFX 8800GTX @ 2 gigs24 inch Widescreen LCD 16XAA/16XAFDual 19 inch LCD'sRaid-0+1PCPower and Cooling 1k Quad SLIhttp://home.comcast.net/~psolk/3monitorsa.htmlBackup RigAMD 4000 San Diego @ 2.72 Gigs Kingston Corsair XMS CL2XFX 7900 GTX Raid-0 Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
May 2, 200818 yr The 8XS was crucial in getting a good picture for me with the 8800GT.The airports, taxiways and runways from distance are still a little shaky. Water on 2 high1 when looking into the sun is still very unsettled.I was however having to run in windowed and now, knock on wood, have been flying full screen and using the menues. This is XP,the leaked 174s and the latest Nhancer beta.Overall Im happy.Aerosoft F-16 where are you!

May 2, 200818 yr Many thanks, got them............Just a question before installing the new driver, is it best to "remove" the 169 version first?? And re: nHancer, what settings does one use for FS9, without getting into highly super tech stuff?? I just had to do a complete reinstall of FS9 (screwed up using "remove duplicate files" on all my add-on sceneries, so noww have a fresh copy and most sliders set at max, getting shimmering on distant sceneries and on airport rwys, will this new Betas correct this?? Thanks to all who reponded!! B42L8
May 2, 200818 yr Hi, does one need to uninstall the earlier version of Nhancer before installing the newer one, or will it self-update while installing the newer one? Thanks.Paulotin
May 2, 200818 yr 8XS Anti-Aliasing works best for me, coupled with 8X Anisotropic Filtering. Some go for 16X AF, but I can see no difference. Bert
