Matt Fox is right. The NDA was lifted this afternoon. Bear in mind those of us with the full FSX beta are working with Beta 3, we don't have the release candidate, so some of the info may be outdated.Generally speaking, though, I think most will be quite happy with FSX.It's not a radical change from FS9, but it is a very nice step forward.Cheers,Bryan

You mean we can come out of the closet now? Lol!Nick

The big question for me is did they fix the life-draining autogen and blurries? Thanks,Todd

>The big question for me is did they fix the life-draining>autogen and blurries? The autogen and "blurry" fixes mentioned on Paul's Blog, http://blogs.technet.com/p-12c_pilot/ , were not yet implemented in Beta 3. The daily builds used by ACES do have the fixes incorporated. We should see the stated performance improvements in the Gold version.Regards,Nick

Would be nice if you guys could post some screenshots in the forum as I'm doing the Fileplanet Public Beta and it would be good to do some comparisons of areas which in my beta still look a mess and would be good to compare with what you have to put my mind at rest. For a start, could someone take a pic from Beta 3 of the River Thames and tower bridge?ThanksCraig

I thought the closet had to stay locked::) big changesWill the traffic BGL file's from fs2004 work in FSX?Will it be easier for the guy's who gave us amazing Flight models in the past, to do the same in FSX?.Can we expect more parameter's to play with regarding the sound engine?Looking forward to the next version, been onboard since the Sublogic day's.John

They have the same build as you do so I'd be surprised if you see major differences.

How about disclosing something noteworthy from your beta experience that you couldn't previously, due to being under an NDA?Gary
