A few weeks ago, when the site was hacked by a milicious person, it felt like we would never see this beautiful site working again.I've been surfing AVSIM from the begining. Fully agree to the posts above. AVSIM was and still is the Number One when it comes to Flight Simulator community. Whether it's their awesome file library, great reviews and user support, they are a class of their own :(

Hi,I would just like to echo what many have said here, it would of been a terrible loss to the FlightSim community if AVSIM did not return. I'm glad AVSIM is back online, and I look forward to the day its back 100%.Here's to the staff of AVSM and the FlightSim community who made it possible for this web site to return to its former self. :(

I'll echo everyone else by saying GREAT job and a heart felt Thank You for all you have done...and will continue to do for the flight sim community. I'd also like to tip my hat to that community in general. I am in awe of how quickly it rallied around this place in its time of need. I am truly proud to say I am part of that community. I too agree. Thanks guys at the Avsim staff, who by hard work and great skill were able to save most of the files and get the site going again! The flight sim community wouldn't have been the same without Avsim.com. When Avsim was down I fully came to understand how much Avsim means to us flight simmers.Zorropisa :( Sweden
