August 13, 200916 yr Hello PMDG team!I'm here not to ask stupid questions but to ask a serious question about your future releases.I'm a big fan of your planes and recently i've switched to X-Plane. With the X-Plane community growing everyday and a huge demand for high detailed planes with FMC I would like to do a formal request to have PMDG make their planes compatible with X-Plane.I think there is a growing market for it (especially now that MS has closed it aces studio). Also keep in mind that x-plane users are great ad serious buyers so I expect these planes to sell like icecream on a hot summerday.I hope you will not put this comment aside and will atleast consider this request.ThanksDavy Albrecht

I have just started to look at X Plane and I am impressed. I use both FS9 and FSX but this is so much better - as you say it just needs system depth and who better to do that than PMDG?Gerry
August 13, 200916 yr That's exactly what I mean..At this moment I consider the X-Plane planes to be in the same position as MSFS was before the payware addon era, although flight dynamics are amazing and I find the global scenery to be a few steps in front of MSFS ! Since Laminar Research is planning to have more detailed planes in the next version of X-Plane (XP10), I suggest PMDG to hop on this driving train !At this moment the only FMC I use is VASfmc. Although not too bad it doesn't even come close to the high level of detail and realism you get while preparing a flight in the PMDG744 for example.Hope someone of the PMDG dev team is willing to reply.RegardsDavy Albrecht
August 13, 200916 yr although flight dynamics are amazing Davy AlbrechtWell I hand flew a copuple of circuits the 747-400 in the X Plane demo and didn't find it that much different from the PMDG. I was able to land it without any problem, so that means PMDG's flight dynamics are equal as far as I'm concerned.Iain Smith
August 13, 200916 yr That's what I mean, the PMDG is an awesome plane to fly with. Mix this together with the great flight experience in X-Plane and you have yourself a killer addon.Best regardsDavy Albrecht Well I hand flew a copuple of circuits the 747-400 in the X Plane demo and didn't find it that much different from the PMDG. August 14, 200916 yr FS9 and FSX still have at least 5 years left in them. And going by what the PMDG guys have lined up for future releases, I doubt they'll move to X Plane any time soon. But I could be wrong and hope I am not.Goran
August 14, 200916 yr Great !Comon you guys, let us all show the PMDG team that they do have a significant x-plane crowd waiting for their products!
