LOL. They would have a chance to kill mine if they could start doing some stuff for North and South America. They aren't the actual developer of this package, but when I asked them if they would ever develope some US stuff, the short answer was no. According to them they develope German airports because Germany has the largest concentration of flight simmers and they don't think they would sell US stuff very well.

Stunning. Man their stuff is good.

Aerosoft belives Germans are very law-abiding and will not pirate their software. Their explanation why they don't do Italian scenery might apply to their views of Americans. Nonetheless, scenery is scenery, and the food isn't any different for me no matter where I fly in FSX. I will plan routes around decent scenery and Aerosoft has gotten a whole lot of my money lately, which I consider well-spent. Them and those Australian guys.I saw the screenshots. Yes, I agree they're nice, but where the heck is it ;-)

You know what, there is so much scenery that is released for Europe and Austrialia (FTX) that I barely fly over my own country (USA). Those guys in Australia got me a long time ago. I own everything they have done. It is what it is!

Anyone using FS9 should use this free download. Free Nice for fs9 I don't know if it works in FSX It might! But more importantly visiting pilots should visit this website All pilots MUST check this websiteThis explains all the approach and departure procedures and landing/t/off rwys in use. As you have to ignore everything fsp ATC tell you and follow the correct SID or STAR. The saleya 22R procedure is quite famous (anyone having been to Nizza will have seen landing a/c curve along the beach) and there is a video of it on the website. Note that there is an ILS but it is rarely used.Vololiberista

Very nice challenge to make an ILS landing at LFMN!Landing is done on the ILS04L after passing the AMFOU and LUC STARs and is generally a visual approach. But it's not a regular ILS landing...Pilots have to start as if they where making an ILS landing, and when the plane flies over Saint-Honorat, they turn right to the east to avoid the narrow water band of cap Antibes and then they turn left again to intercept CGS radial 176 and finish the approach. So it's a "ILS/VOR/ILS" landing.I used to make some funny landings when I was working in FranceThis will be a great addon :--)

Released.Any feedback yet?Does anybody know if it's Dx10 compatible? (most of Aerosoft sceneries aren't)

Hi David. I bought it the day it came out. I don't believe that it is DX10 compatible. Also the jetways are static unless you have AES and the textures have no mipmaps. As a result of the lack of mips a few customers have been requesting a patch to fix some of the shimmering issues. I am running high levels of AA and AS and I had some shiimers as well, but was able to correct it by adding mipmaps myself.Overall the scenery looks good and provides for good frame rates. The ground textures look so good that it makes the default ground textures look really bad until GEX Europe is released. If you fly in that area a lot I would recommend it, especially if you have MonacoX. However, if you are uncomfortable adding mipmaps yourself and you get the shimmering some have complained about then you maybe disappointed.

I use all Aerosoft's European sceneries with DX10. The only one I had problems with was Paris de Gaulle, but the Addon Converter program fixed that. Nice looks okay too, but maybe that's the AddOn converter doing its job?RegardsPete

Looks really great! my system is old now, so I'm really scared of buying fsx only airports what are the average fps cmpbellsjc? I have a E6600 8600gt 512 video card fsx runs ok not to great with big scenery.
