Ah, Tim's head is in the clouds! :( Literally, I think since it appears he has discovered a way to add cloud shadows on the ground (groundbreaking). So me thinks this has thwarted his attention for a while. Rats, as I too sit here quietly waiting to hear news on FS9.

Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!)  Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11),  EVGA 1300W PSU
Netgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displays
Full array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.

Yes, indeed. And, from the point of view of an FS9er, I must say I'm being jealous! Time to go FSX? :(

Hi everyone, make no mistake about it, we have all diverted our attention to getting REXv.FS9 into beta. We made a promise and we are sticking to it.Thanks, and it's nice to know there is still interest :)Has anyone here seen the previews here for the FS9 version? Some of them are earlier previews, but we should be putting up more as we progress towards release:http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/index.php?board=14.0

Awesome, Tim. Thanks for the update. I've already received clearance from my wife to get it the day it comes out.Out of curiousity, is there any chance that little thing you've been working on in your spare time can be made to work in FS9?

Awesome Tim, thanks for the update, take the time you need to get it done. REX 2.0 for FSX is a really lovely addition to the addon market and i'm sure the FS9 version will be excellent too. Been waiting a long time for the FS9 version and i'm sure it'll be worth the wait. RegardsKizzle

Been waiting for this one for some time, can't wait!

Likewise!! I am salivating over this for FS9; And I would really wonder if the cloud shadow thing could even be done in FS9....but if it was, then that would be great. If not, then it gives me something truly new and exciting to look forward to next year when i switch...

Tim, I don't doubt there are a huge number of simmers who are sticking with FS9, who are quietly and politely waiting in the wings (sorry for the pun) for REX to be released. Thanks for sticking to your commitments. Keep up the excellent work. Tristan.
