Featured Replies

Guys i think there is an aircraft missing from flight sim x!! I think that is the BAE146/AVRO RJ85, i know there is one or two floating about, but my question is do we need a good one for flight sim x???? If some one could add a poll for me with just a yes or no answer that would be great as i have no idea how to do it!!Thanks for your feedback!!!

I don't think we NEED any aircraft, but it would be nice to have it of course. I could certainly use one for my EGLC flights. But I'd much rather have that A320 you're advertising! I'm hoping it'll be available for my grandchildren, at least... :(Ian

HelloOne of Flightsims great mystery's this, Why there has never been a really well done 146/RJ in the sim.Still lots of them flying around Europe.Would love Aerosoft to revisit this Aircraft and do it to the same level as the PMDG J41

We need one for sure. The design is a rather unique one and it'd be a great pity if we have no quality BAe 146 in our sim.

there was a freeware one in the works I believe but like most projects they slowly disappear

It was in the works at AFG, but the designer quit at that team and took the project with him. So, there goes our model with VC... It's a great pity, because the aircraft looked stunning.

I definitely would welcome a high quality BAe 146 and Avro RJ185. I only flew on an BAe 146 once. It was a fun trip!

FSX simply needs anything that comes along. BAEPanelproject has a decent panel already, ISGSim the GNS-XLS, the missing piece is the plane model. I wonder why developers don't work together, they have skills in different areas. Instead of doing each and everything on their own, they could save development time this way. I doubt many developers have the resources to do everything themselves. In most cases, the outcome is a buggy product because of the lack of skills.IMHO FSX badly misses PMDG-style A320 series, 737, EMB-170 series, 777 and maybe even a 757, and for the smaller jets a Do-328 Jet would be nice. I have nothing against A310, A300, 727, CRJ, 717, DC-10 and the likes, but I guess we'll never see those, let alone vintage aircraft like B-314, Constellation, Caravelle,... All at PMDG- or LDS level (A2A did a great job in this area already).Andreas

HJG has an updated version of Jon Murchinson's BAE 146; there is also available an updated version of Matthias Lieberect's panel. Both work very nicely in FSX. Try them, you should be pleasantly surprised.

I cannot see a new version there, just read SP1, SP2, SP3 are somehow planned. I tried these models long time ago and they instantly went off my hard drive after some testing: The same horrible FDE like Premaircraft's birds. The best thing is the panel which is really superb.Andreas

Hi I must admit that I have always had a soft spot for the BAe 146, maybe it

My credit card will definetly be ready on that joyful day! :( /Jonas

YES bring on the BAe 146 in all variations it is one of my favourite airliners have flown on them quite a few times here in australia and now i have the abacus one ...yes with VC that is how desperate I am for one. It doesnt come with any paint kits or any real world paints the textures arnt all that great but for 10 dollars I thought what the hey. Hopefully one day a developer out there will consider this wonderful regional airliner I dont care who does it as long as it is done right . The eurowings 146 for FS9 is an excellent visual model the best one I have seen thus far...the only thing it lacks of course is a VC.I will keep hoping ;)
