September 28, 200916 yr Hello there,I am just wondering what would be a good controller for a J41, i was considering the saitek pro flight yoke system.. Sorry if this may be a bit off topic but this is for the J41...Any help is appreciatedCheers Alexander Michael
September 28, 200916 yr I'm using that controller and it works flawlessly. Just perfect, also with MD-11. Buy FSUIPC too, to be able to configure the yoke.
September 28, 200916 yr Commercial Member Saitek pro flight system here and it's great....I have the throttle 1 and 2 mapped to the first two throttles and the propeller mapped to the third (it controlls both engines)I also have flaps set to the right switch on the throttle and reverse throttle on the left switch. Works awesome Noah Bryant
September 29, 200916 yr brodie, w/ the saiteks and FSUIPC you can set the detents to thrust reverse very easily.Sam

I also use the registered version of FSUIPC for tweaking. George Morris
September 29, 200916 yr Author Thanks for the information provided guys! I purchased the saitek pro flight yoke system. Only thing i could find wrong was a loose rocker switch. not really a big deal. Other than that i think it adds a hole lot more realsim.... Now just for that computer.. :( Once again thanks for your helpCheers Alexander Michael

September 29, 200916 yr Commercial Member brodie, w/ the saiteks and FSUIPC you can set the detents to thrust reverse very easily.SamSam- I tried something like that but couldnt figure it out and ended up screwing everything up. I really dont understand FSUIPC at all. Can you give me an idea how to do what you describe, or point me to a good link that teaches it? Noah Bryant
September 29, 200916 yr I use a PFC SAAB Yoke with 2 x Saitek Throttles (one of which goes through the Saitek Yoke, which I no longer use as such). These are calibrated using FSUIPC. Works like a treat. FSUIPC allows you to set up the beta range control really well btw.Cheers,Ross Cheers, Ross i910900KF | ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Extreme Z590 | ASUS ROG STRIX RTX3070 OC 8Gb | 32Gb G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3200 I Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing | Samsung SSD 870 1TB GB HD | WIN 10 64 Bit
September 29, 200916 yr Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and throttle. AWESOME!!! I was on a Thrustmaster Couger before and this kicks it to hell and gone.

September 29, 200916 yr I am using the Saitek Yoke and extra TQ as well, along with my original CH Rudder Pedals. All set with custom programing in the reg'd version of FSUIPC.Question,Could someone who switched from the CH rudder pedals to the Saitek rudder pedals please comment on the differences / benefits between the two? I never bothered to upgrade to the Saitek rudder pedals because I couldn't imagine much of a difference between the two.Thanks... Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
September 29, 200916 yr I would like to know too as I am thinking of swapping to the Saitek.I currently have the CH Yoke, Pedals and Throttle Quadrant and looking at some sites it would still cost almost the same as when I bought them a few years ago if I bought them now.I can get the Saitek yoke and Throttles for
December 21, 200916 yr Saitek pro flight system here and it's great....I have the throttle 1 and 2 mapped to the first two throttles and the propeller mapped to the third (it controlls both engines)I also have flaps set to the right switch on the throttle and reverse throttle on the left switch. Works awesomeCan you tell me how you got your reverse throttle to work? I have the saitek pro flight system and want to use the throttle lever for reverse like the real aircraft does. I also have FSUIPC. Thanks Morpheous
December 22, 200916 yr Hi MorpheousThe method that I use on my Saitek Pro system for setting up the reverse on the JS41 (or any other aircraft for that matter), is to firstly when calibrating the throttle axis to place a check mark in the box
