January 19, 201016 yr Commercial Member Good start. Couple of things. The globe logo is too far after on the fuselage and the bottom is cutoff by the stripe too much (e.g. more of the the African continent and Central America should show). The starboard side font appears to be aerial."HK" lettering shouldn't exist on the nosewheel door (at least in the pictures I've seen).Registration too far down and and too small."TWE" tail lettering extends too high.Stripes on starboard side misaligned aft of the window exit. And finally, both sides has the Trans World Express lettering too large (both height-wise and extends too far aft).Thanks.Only other thing that slipped my eye until now is that the space between the "N" and "S" in "TRANS" is not consistent with the rest of the lettering. January 19, 201016 yr Hi DaveAt last a UK registration, let me see what I can come up with, it may take a little longer than the others as I have a few things to do before I have a look at this, but rest assured it will be attempted..Jim Hodkinson
January 20, 201016 yr Hi DaveI found myself with a more time than I though I would have, so if you would care to take her for a spin to see if it
January 20, 201016 yr Jim, thank you for all the hard work you have put into doing these repaints. All of them have been nothing short of amazing in my opionion. The J4100 is a great airplane to fly, and is even better with your repaints. Thank you. January 20, 201016 yr Hi ScotThank you very much for those words, it really is appreciated.Over the years I have download hundreds if not thousands of repaints that have been done by other people and it
January 21, 201016 yr I can only echo Scott's words...Thanks Jim for making this available to the JS users here!A beer on me if you're ever in my neck of the woods....Andrew Andrew Entwistle
January 21, 201016 yr Hi AndrewThank you for the complement, it really is appreciated, the thing is that I enjoy doing them and also being able to give back to a hobby that has given me a lot over the years, so if you ever want a particular scheme for the J41, just let me know and I
January 22, 201016 yr Jim Hodkinson, would you mind a bit of constructive criticism? If you look at the photo and your livery, there are some thing that need re-doing if you want it to be perfect.First look at the photo and look at the white gap in-between the red and blue that run along the length of the plane. The white gap is perfect on your livery, but the thickness of the red and blue line should be the same thickness as the white gap well....a little thicker!, your red and blue lines are to thick.Secondly the red line from the point from where it starts to drop to the front cone is to pointed the photo's red line curves down, the blue needs to match the red.Third the reg # needs moving closer to the back window its far to far away.Just small things, hope you did not mind. All the best. January 22, 201016 yr Hi DavidAll comments are more than welcome, so do not worry about that, I have to admit that I never noticed the discrepancy before, but after I have done a repaint that is in progress for the 747, I will update the files to show the corrections and post a new link.Thank you for the feedback, it all helps.Jim Hodkinson
January 23, 201016 yr Hi Jim,your repaints are really wonderful, so I'd like to post a request: will it be possible for you to make a fictional repaint of the regional commuter Air Alps?http://www.airalps.at/picturegallery.htmlThanks in advance, bye!Michael Tais
January 23, 201016 yr Hi MichaelThank you very much for those kind words, it is very appreciated. As I have just finished the 747
January 24, 201016 yr Hi DavidI have done a quick rework of the Eastern colour scheme, and I think I have covered all your points, although I did get a little confused (not unusual for me) by the second request, it seems to read that the red fuselage line has an error in it, but you want the blue to match it, but anyway here is the link to the updated files if anybody requires them..http://www.filefront.com/15415631/Eastern_02.zipAnd thank you again for the feedback and suggestions; if you have any other requests please do not hesitate to contact me.Jim HodkinsonHi MichaelI had a little time, and it has been a while since I did a Jetstream repaint, so I thought I would give your suggestion a go as I often like to fly in the alps and this seemed like a worthy paint scheme to do it in (although I have to admit that I have never heard of Air Alps, sorry about that), so if this is something like the repaint that you were after then here is the link for the files..http://www.filefront.com/15415621/ALPS_01.zipIf you want anything changing, then please let me know and I will try my best to help out.By the way that is one big logo to fit on the Jetstream and not tear whacking great holes out of it with the window cut-outs, I have given it my best shot at trying to keep as much of the logo intact as I can, but if you want me to reposition it just let me know and we will have a go at it.Take care, and have fun flying in the Alps, I know I do.Jim Hodkinson
