I finally got around to installing the RealAir Duke. I just wanted to give a big thumbs up to RealAir for this outstanding product. I am mostly a GA flier and this plane is perfect for how I fly. I would have to say this is probably the best aircraft add on I have, and I have many. The 3d gauges and the level of detail really up the ante. I still love my Eaglesoft commanche, and my long list of Carenado aircraft, I just wish RealAir would develop more aircraft. Keep up the good work.

Ditto. The Duke is dueling with the L39 for heated hangar space LOL. Those are my two favorite aircraft for FS. Ever. Period.

I have to agree,One of the best purchases I've made for FSX,The VC is one of the sharpest, cleanest I've seen in flight simming,I'm seriously looking to purchase their Scout package because it looks to be just as detailed.

The Duke my favorite. I just love it.

One of my favorite things about the Duke is there attention to detail in every aspect of the aircraft. I have the following add ons. PMDG 747, md11, Coolsky super 80, Wilco 737, Maddog md80, Eaglesoft commanche, almost the whole fleet of Carenado aircraft, Flight 1 ATR, CS 757, CS 727, and Dreamfleet Dakota. Out of all those the Duke, Carenado's latest offerings, and the Eaglesoft commanche are the only add ons I have that I am 100% happy with. They are bug free and perform very well in FSX.

You may be satisfied with the Duke; but RealAir apparently isn't. They are working on SP2 to resolve some minor problems like the NAV flags displaying when the HSI is being driven by the Reality XP GPS.www.fs-gs.com releases texture mods to clients for some payware aircraft that makes them perform better and look even better too. The Duke is one of them.Donald

Thanks for the generous comments which are all appreciated. We will be shortly issuing a patch, now in final test stages, which offer the following improvements:1. Further enhancements to make the RXP gauges flawless (fingers crossed!) regarding approaches and HSI flags.2. Three optional levels of model detail plus polygon optimisation to improve frame rates and performance.3. Optional mipmapped textures to improve spot view performance and hopefully fix some reported multiplayer sync problems.4. Improved engine start reliability.5. Improved gauge response to amps load and other electrical functions.6. Option of subtle raindrop effects on front/side windows and front canopy. All the best,Rob & Sean - RealAir Simulations

I really appreciate your implementation of the reality xp gps's. Thanks for one of my favorite planes and with all those Beech Parts and Beech Gauges a B55/58 Baron would seem a logical next... :(

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

Agreed, one of the best aircraft for FSX to date!Only things missing that I feel could make it better are:-Landing lights similar to the Lotus L-39C (What can I say... those lights are the benchmark now!)-Visible airframe, and window icing like F1's Mustang, PMDG's J41, etc. (This is the finishing touch... really adds to the sim for me)Other than that, this gem has it it all, in spades!

The Duke is simply the best. Would love to see a Baron.Call me greedy. Wish it had failures and damage due to engine mis-handling modeled. Would pay twice as much for something like that.

The cockpit i seem to be climbing into every time i fire up FSX...... Thankyou!

Hi Badaboom,We don't have any plans for a dedicated forum but we do often monitor sites like this one to answer general questions. Our output is small and we tend to specialise in projects that avoid, if possible, treading on anyone else's toes too much, and Corporate Jets seem to already be very well done by other developers (some of whom I have freelanced with as co-author). We do want to produce a jet aircraft for a change and that might be on the cards for an upcoming project but I doubt if it would be a Biz Jet.Regards,Rob - RealAir
