April 7, 201016 yr But an airplane does figure into my retirement plan. We fly to another state every month for lotto tickets...Now THAT is a great line !! :(
June 1, 201016 yr They are working on it. :(how do you know?They really are? W7 UltimateX64, Intel I2600k @ 4.1ghz, CoolerMaster v6, 8GB Ram , EVGA GTX 560ti

June 1, 201016 yr The Duke is so immersive, I keep looking for the seat belts when I get in. Oddly, there aren't any... (It's only a peculiar omission without any importance in an otherwise addictive plane).Paul
June 2, 201016 yr I agree with the other posters, the Duke is easily one of the best add-ons for FSX I have ever purchased. The ONLY thing I noticed, and it is more of a visual thing, is that the props cones are not connected to the aircraft (or I should say mounted on a rod/axel...sorry, I don't know the terminology), they seem to "float" in front of the engines. Outside of that, I really can't fault it. I have since added in the RXP GNS 530 WAAS and created a custom EZdok profile, now it is even better. A big thanks to RealAir (and a big thanks Mariftarr at EZdok for the great starting point to base my RA Duke profile on). June 2, 201016 yr I just want to say WELL DONE RealAir :( :( I just love my Duke B60, its one of the best FSX plane out there Bar none! But I think the best part of the Duke is the sounds. Its justthe best I've head to date. Go to your room, turn out the lights, put your headset on and TURN UP THE VOLUME!Again job well done on the Duke PS can we get a dedicated forum?
June 2, 201016 yr PS can we get a dedicated forum?I second that. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester

June 3, 201016 yr I read every post in this thread and you all have convinced me. I need this airplane. I have been looking for a fast twin to fly around FTX PNW and FTA Australia (need a little change from A2A cub and B-17 which are terrific). I am going to take the plunge and get this airplane. Andrew
June 3, 201016 yr From one Andrew to another, I would say you won't regret it. The latest version is a great performer, and one of the regulars in my log book... Great attention to detail, lovingly crafted, looks great on the outside too, is easy enough to control...If your "thing" is GA, and GA twins in particular, then it is a must have! I am looking forward to hearing about the turbine conversion being worked on...If I had one thing to say about it, I would prefer a more noticeable difference in engine/prop sound when altering the prop rpms... I know that Digital Aviation did this on the Cheyenne, and no doubt there are others, but the change in sound when cycling the props from full fine to feathering is not marked enough in many constant speed prop aircraft modelled for FS9/X.However, this has not stopped my flying the Duke...Andrew Andrew Entwistle
June 3, 201016 yr I'm pretty much a 2d cockpit guy, but Realair has done it for me with the Duke. The 3d cockpit is easy to read and has click spots so that it's easy to move around the views. It is still readable when flying toward the sun, gauge response is perfectly smooth, and fps is very good on my mid-level system. The flight characteristics seem to be right on and it even does a pretty good impression of a slip when cross-controlled.I'll be watching for their next release.Dale Dale
