PMDG 737 NGX: The View Forward

Featured Replies

Okay everybody, that was all very funny, but I want to get serious for just a minute. I'm hoping the developers use the J41 as the target for performance. I don't care for a 2D panel at all, and I don't need a cabin. I just want a fabulous VC with high resolution displays (like the J41) with really good sounds (like the J41) with good frame rates (like the J41). I guess I want another J41 in every way, but in Boeing clothes this time. I'm cautiously optimistic this can be done, with options that can be user selected.......like the J41.

I do care about the 2D Panel.Do you think guys the BBJ variant of the -700 and/or the BBJ2 variant of the -800 will also be included? Would be lovely to fly some cool PrivatAir EHAM to KIAD route with the BBJ as they fly the type on behalf of KLM, all business class, 44 seats only...

i thought i saw somewhere this is gonna include the 600WL 600 700WL 700 800WL 800 900WL 900 BBJ BBJ2 BBJ3 most or all of the different cockpit configurations.its a lot and if its all true id pay $100 for this. But i hope im not giving any ideas on pricing :(
I hope it will work on my computer:
I don't even think the supported Flight Sim will work on Windows 7 B.C.

I CANNOT WAIT for this to come out. I'm going to simulate WestJet (Canada)...there are so many great Sceneries for FSX that WestJet fly too. I wonder if there is anyway ti find out WJ's Cockpit configuration in there 737's so that I can use the same Config's in the PMDG 737.

Looks good. Seems as if you all are getting there.

Hello PMDG,You probably remember me after about the petition i made with a couple o friends which now has 700+ signatures. My name is Brian Meyers. Listen id like to apologize if we caused anything negative. I WAS a FS9 user then but no longer. ALL FS9 users just want is at least one more aircraft before their favorite design group completely moves into FSX. I don't mean to get off topic but what i was originally gonna post is at the bottom. But anyway.im using x-plane 9.50 and i have FSX installed as i wait for you masterpiece known as the NGX. I will be using x-plane for my CRJ and maybe il buy the x-pjets x-plane 777 or the PMDG 777 when they comeout. maybe both. BUt when the NGX does come out. ALL of my 737 flying will be in FSX. all others in x-plane. unless of course i decide to buy for PMDG aircraft for FSX i.e. the 747 and J41 from you guys. But jrollon is making a CRJ thats completely functional with outstanding graphics for x-plane. anyway i have had to change my under pants 3 times by going through the forum looking at the pictures. I compiled all of my words into one simple word here:OUTSTANDINGyou guys have simply outdone your selves. even though its been 4 years about since you started the project, it is totally worth the wait.i say thank you for your hard work in advance.Brian Meyers,Dedicated FSX, X-plane user, and FS9 user supporter.
Brian,The X-Plane 777 will come out at least in one year, and you will have to pay i think more then the NGX. The Jrollon crj is maybe the only a/c that is decent in X-Plane, all the others match the default FS9 737Quit X-Plane, come on FSXG Macasoi

Hi Vin,Yesterday, you promised to upload full vc pictures by the end of day. But there are no pictures uploaded.. Plz upload the pictures, waiting anxiously..RegardsWaseem

Come on mate, he was being sarcastic :)

Mr. Macasio,Yeah when PMDG releases the NGX i am switching back to FSX. My specs:AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.20GHz (not the best processor in the world)ATI Raedon 4650 1GB (over-clocked)PC6400 4GB RAM Vista Home PremiumThe processor is the only problem. My RAM is fine. My vid card is fine (i know because a friend of mine uses the Nvidia 9500 GT and i compared the specs and my vid card is slightly better.) My processor is is a big fat fart. So it needs an upgrade along with my motherboard which will require a power supply upgrade as well. But with my processor with all settings at highest (except AA) with all default scenery when im flying the CS 767 i get 15 FPS. thats with the CS 767. so i expect to get more with PMDG because they are known to make realistic planes with nearly no frame rate hit.Brian

I used to have that processor, If it's an AM2 socket chip you may be able to upgrade to an AM3. If you check the manufacture's website for your motherboard there should be a BIOS update to run an AM3 socket (assuming your 4200 is an AM2 socket.)I am running an AMD Phenom 2 X4 965 @ 3.75GHz (3.4 Stock) and I can run FSX very well. The chip only ran me $179 USD on New Egg so it was a very inexpensive upgrade.
