January 27, 201016 yr After asking around for a good Airbus A32X family and a good ATC program, here is the third edition in my series of topics, where I ask opinions on addon planes. This time, it's the Boeing 777. For as far as I can see, there are three options: Overland, Wilco and PSS. First is Overland: I already have that one. It's nice, but systemswise it's a default plane. The PSS seems to have a great reputation, plus the fact that somebody managed to make a merge with the POSKY model, and adding in sounds by TSS and various other goodies, which results in a really great package. However, it is old and the company has died, so any outstanding issues probably are not gonna be removed. And, it's 38 euros or so, which is expensive. The Wilco seems to have it's own model of somewhat high quality, but then again, I only saw some screenshots. it is your opinion I'd like to hear on the matter. What, in your opinion, is the best Boeing 777 around? As an aside, I'm not counting in a PMDG 777; chances are far too slim that it will make it to FS2004 in order to incorprate it in this thread, in my opinion... February 2, 201016 yr Get VATSIM, that'll be the best ATC software youll getYou mean FSInn or SquawkBox, right? :( But of course I wholeheartedly agree with this suggestion.
February 3, 201016 yr What, in your opinion, is the best Boeing 777 around?Hi BenWhile I'm don't know much about B777 simulations (it's an excellent airplane, tough), I saw this thread yesterday on the Letters to the editorial staff of AVSIM forum, where this guy claims to be a 777 pilot and instructor and he says the Just Flight (PSS) 777 is as real as it gets for him. He even says that it is a "near perfect" product.PSS 777 Professional threadI've had a very good reference of PSS products with their (excellent) 757.There's my 2 cents.Best regards Ed OcampoStaff ReviewerAVSIM Online[email protected]Fly DC Jets

November 3, 201015 yr Author I must say I have ended up very happy with the PSS/POSKY merge, although I hardly fly it because there is no way to save the panel state. Besides that, though, you get a very functional plane, with a very good VC and even better exterior. If it would have had a way to save the panel state, it would have been one of my most frequently flown planes. The PSS 777 will save its panel state when you save the flight. So, if you load your saved flight from FS main menu, the panel will be set exactly as it was.Regards.
