Actually, FTX is easier on framerates than you might imagine especially since they are applying new "Texture Flow" technology to the PNW. What are your machine specs?
February 21, 201016 yr LOL. I can hear it now! Actually, FTX is easier on framerates than you might imagine especially since they are applying new "Texture Flow" technology to the PNW. What are your machine specs? No really, pushing it to the max at the moment: Athlon 64/3200, 2Gb RAM, ATI 3850. I manage to run Radar Contact, FS Genesis, Eaglesoft Citation X (Just) and now added ASA into the mix as well. I think that my next purchase will have to be a new machine !!! GGazzareth,It's great that you can run FSX. Actually if you take care of the sliders and tweaks properly it is amazing how FSX will perform. That being said, I guess a new machine would greatly increase your experience at least detail and smoothness wise.
February 21, 201016 yr It's great that you can run FSX. :( You got my point then !! Actually all things considered it runs very well, looking forward to seeing what it looks like on a better rig later in the year !!!G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
