CS707: it's coming!

Featured Replies

So it has been sort of unofficially announced since late 2009, but now it's official: the Captain Sim 707 will be coming. Previews will follow soon. Looking at their 727, I think the 707 will in any case be looking just as phenomenal, and I guess the systems will be good too. Anyway, I'm looking forward too it. There is no good looking FSX 707 yet.

That's great news, thanks for the HU Benjamin! An old friend of mine who was a retired 707 pilot told me once that he was always wearing wool socks during his flights because of the airstream in the cockpit :--)What a fantastic bird... I miss the sound of the four smoky JT4A-4 in the airports.

Indeed. With the Civa INS it gets even better! The only thing which I don't like about CS planes, is that there never is a way to save the panels. Saving the flight like you nomrally would always gets you a half-configured plane when loading.

Yes! :( I think the FS9 CS707 was the fist plane I ever bought and I loved it from the first second. The shine, the gauges, the sound, the smoke. I'm getting it the day it's out and there will be other heavy in my skies but it.Now if only they'll do my beloved F-104....

To each their own. I myself see users having to do their own patchwork on the 727 just to get it to work right, so I fail to see why this product would be any different. Captain Sim never seems to learn how to improve the quality of their products. I bought the 757 when it was on sale and even at $15 I felt I got ripped off. And I wonder where that B52 VC is at...

I enjoyed the 727 when I had installed. My computer just isn't good enough to run FSX well, so I'll have to wait. My point is, I don't think the plane is bad. I like what it does, and for me it worked okay. Of course, I'm no 727 pilot. I'm no pilot at all, so I might be missing some important stuff...

Try the C-130 for FSX.It will change your mind.

727 is a quality aircraft, I haven't flown the 757 in a few months but may load it up just for kicks
