April 13, 201016 yr Does anyone have any information as to when the Superbug will again be available for purchase? They expect to release a patch for those with installation problems today (April 13, UTC - 8). I suppose they will open their shop again once the patch is out.You have something nice to look forward to, that I can tell you :( Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD
April 13, 201016 yr Yeah, I'm also waiting patiently, def. looking forward to it, I was quite disappointed to see they shut off access to the new customers, while I certainly understand why, was still a bummer. But thankfully today is the 13th and hopefully I'll be able to purchase my new bird as soon as that patch comes out, I'm getting tired of reading all the posts about how great it is, I wanna see for myself :( Also, GMT -8 just implies that it's Greenwich mean time minus 8 hours, so Pacific time adjusted for daylight savings. Anywho, can't wait! Looks like one helluva accomplishment :( Ty J. Peres - KBZN
April 14, 201016 yr So what's the point of specifying the time zone, with no time?Well, it tells you when their April 13 ends (9 hours later than mine, for example). At any rate, they've updated their estimate: "NEW INSTALLERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED ON TUES...ER, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14th GMT -8 " Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD
April 15, 201016 yr Sorry all for the delays. We were set to release the patch tonight (Wednesday), got so far as to put it out on the server, only to discover a critical bug when run on FSX SP2. So we've pulled the patch and will roll a new one with that fixed tomorrow.Just to be clear, if you're still having issues accessing the forums (and you shouldn't as far as I know) please e-mail us at the address listed on the site.

Even ORBX mangaged to get PNW out after only a short delay and that was bad enough.Time companies stopped this pre-pay nonsense and just say its out when its out. This is NOT the way to treat potential customers, VRS are fortunate that the they have no close competitors with this product.Bryan.
April 15, 201016 yr GuysI am one of luckier ones who have a FULLY working F/A 18 from VRS. It wasn't like that from the off, but VRS spent LITERALLY hours of 1 on 1 time with me, using both MSN and e-mail, until I was fully satisfied.I'm sorry for those who are still waiting, but really guys, it's worth ANY bit of hassle and waiting. IMHO, this has to be one of the most outstanding pieces of work so far for FSX. The flight dynamics are just amazing. It just FEELS real. It's very hard to describe that, but you'll know what I mean when you get it airbourne.I like this addon so much, I shall be aquiring a Saitak X52 stick & throttle just for it alone. I pre ordered mine, but did not get it installed and working straight away. The guys have worked their butts off to bring you one of the most advanced and in depth pieces of software available for the sim and they continue to work hard to resolve all issues. A piece of software is NOT a one size fits all product. Its how the companiy deals with the inevitable teething problems that counts. And only by people buying and using the installer and software will all the potential issues urface. They are not Microsoft, they cant issue a public beta for several thousand people to test.If you want this kind of add on and you want people like them to keep on producing this kind of stuff, you need to cut them some slack and do less ######ing.Cheers, Mark
April 15, 201016 yr I understand the patch has now been released! No, not just yet anyway, trust me I've been checking non-stop :( I can't wait to try it, I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait, plus some. Ty J. Peres - KBZN

April 15, 201016 yr My biggest question is if new customers will be able to purchase today after the patch gets released. I can only hope so, she looks sooo fantastic, I can't wait to try my hand at some carrier landings! Ty J. Peres - KBZN
