Yeah, I saw it over at the FSX forum. I'm thrilled about it. Vienna is central in Europe, and so it's the perfect stop if you don't feel like flying 5 hours on end. Therefore, I really like it that they took the trouble to update the scenery AND to make a FSX version. I sorely missed a FSX version (when I still used it, that is) of Vienna. I also really like that they give an upgrade option for those that want/need it. I'll get this thing the moment its out, I tell you...

Good deal. I'm happy to support FT as they still support FS9. I just purchased their updated KBOS and as always the quality is fantastic.

This must be the most unnessesary project in history as V1 is still one of the most stunning sceneries around! I guess it's more of just an update than a whole new version to reflect the airport in it's current state?

Unnecessary?! Man, a lot has changed at that airport, you know. It's not an update to make it look better, it's an update to make it look more like the real thing. They have built an entirely new terminal since the first release of the scenery, for example. This terminal is now also represented in the FlyTampa version.

There are money making operations in the world...maybe...but creativity does not come when you expect it. It comes when you least expect it...So who is to say it doesn't matter?Mark

I've only just moved to Southampton a few months ago & don't really follow Footie anyway :)

The real reason :( I have a desktop is to run my sim.I will buy every new fs9 addon as long as it is top notch like fly tampa ! Support the companies that really make fs9 as real as it gets!Thanks fly tampa :( for your FS9 support!

Don't forget, there's no FSX version, so from that point of a view, it's as good a decision as any. And FlyTampa are in an excellent position to make it, seeing as how they still have source material. That's better than starting from scratch.V2 for FS9 is a bonus, available as an upgrade option for v1 users to boot. I'm definitely going to get it.
