No he isn't. Just look at his photo. He is a nice guy from Caracas, Venezuela. :(
JC was actually from Caracas, depending on whose mythology you subscribe to!It is some miraculous stuff. Really quite significant improvements for me: went from 93% perfect to 99%, so that's decent!

Thanks for the ForceFullScreenVSync=1 fix.Keep up the good work Bojote.

Is there a solution for VSync in windowed mode?If it already posted somewhere, please point to the right direction, because I cannot find it.

Sorry for late feedback...I was away for some days.I have already tried (and retried) the suggested tweak (ForceWindowedVSync=1), but it does not work for me. On the contrary, the ForceFullScreenVSync=1 works perfectly. The card is 5850 (1gb) with Catalyst 10.4, with "Wait for Vertical Refresh" to Always off (although I have tried other settings also).Any suggestions, anything I may miss?

Any news?

for some reason vsync has worked fine for me forced through atitray, I just can't enable tripple buffering. Once that is enabled, then I get black screens etc.

I'm here :) unfortunately (or fortunately in my case) I'm doing some custom app development for a client and I've been really busy lately!I remember there was a discussion here about the problems when enabling vsync while in windowed mode and the frame rate being cut in half, but I don't remember reading that it did NOT work, also your Vertical refresh rate in the ATI control panel needs to be set to application controlled. What is exactly the problem you are experiencing when you say it does not work? you mean you still see tearing?

Glad to see you in action (and obviously with some free time left :( )I think what you mention about halving the frame rate has to do with the use of external frame limiters in windowed mode.Anyhow, yes I still see tearing. I'll check again with "application controlled" setting and report back.PS. By the way, and continuing on the "dreadful" windowed mode (which unfortunately is needed for some addons to work), is there any experience on system hangups when in windowed mode and related to the use of "autohide" for taskbar?
