The only thing I do not like about the FT ERJ package, from what I have seen (I do not own it), is that the FSX version does not seem to have any glass shine effects (when viewed externally). I know it is something small, but I am a visual guy and little things like that have always bugged me. When I owned the ESDG Citation X (I returned it due to computer issues that seemed to only occur with that product......only to find out it was not the CX at all, so I will more than likely be picking that up again and also purchasing the FS9 version), it seemed to have the same issue with the external glass. The FS9 version, from the screenshots I have seen, does not seem to have this issue at all (I actually think the FS9 CX 2.0 looks better...call me kooky. lol). You probably really can't go wrong with either the FT ERJ series or the ESDG CX. ESDG is kown for very good support, as is FT (when it is actually FT and not Wilco). Both groups are great people with a lot of dedication to the FS community. Hope this helps.

Feelthere still thumbing its noses at virtual cockpit flyers who want proper night lighting?

Ark, both FS9 and FSX versions have reflective external glass. The 3DVC in FSX version has the same feature and beautiful night lighting. :(Almost forgot. CX2.0 is extremely light on FPS despite the numerous Honeywell Screens.
I Recommend the Wilco's Embraer Regional Jet Collection. It Includes the ERJ-135/145 and 145XR
the ERJ v2 (135/145 LR and 145 XR) are a feelThere product, not wilco. wilco happens to be a distributer. you can purchase ERJv2 directly from feelThere.--

Still trolling?
???Trolling? No, asking a serious question. Their response was "most people don't care so we won't do it" after first claiming pilots always fly with the flood lights on at night. I have bought feelthere products before but that is inexcusable. The first comment wasn't a troll either, how can someone not like an addon simply because of a small part of the exterior model they don't like? Basically throwing out the idea of flying probably the best modeled systems-wise addon ever created?

Yeah, I noticed the external glass reflections on the FSX CX 2.0 (the windshield when viewed externally), but it was so faint I had a tough time seeing it. I remember trying to mess with alpha channels, but the glass remained almost completely clear. From the screeshots on the site, the FS9 version just looked better externally with regards to the glass. I know, a small thing, but something I always like to see. :)

Threads like this pique my interest as I'm always looking for another jet to grow my hangar. I am going to look into the ERJs and others soon.As an ESDG Citation X owner, I can say that it is worth the money. It boasts great range, great speed, great ceiling, and great flight characteristics. I have both the FS9 and FSX versions, although I only have FSX installed currently. I fly this jet more than any other plane. To each his own, it depends on what you are out to do. I'm not made of money so I can't just buy something and not use it. Unfortunately, I have done so with other planes so I am going to be very careful on any future purchase. When I first saw the CX, I also thought it looked strange with it's fat belly, but it has grown on me and I think it is truly beautiful in-flight now. What is more important than looks, to me, is that I work for a company that manufactures some of the avionics on this jet, and they have hit the mark with this plane. FWIW, I have not purchased the update from Navigraph and I don't intend to.To be fair, I believe that all developers put a vast amount of time in their plane's systems as well, and in time I will probably purchase another brand based on input from owners of the software, and support available from the developer. I visit the forums here at AVSIM or on their websites (unless registration is required) and read the comments. That is a big part of the purchase decision in my book.

Why is that so difficult to understand? You can't expect everyone to think exactly like you do.
