May 7, 201016 yr Author Just bought the feelthere ERJ.Nice VC, not as good as PMDG but still good quality.Really nice modeling and paint.Obviously still need to learn how to fly the plane but the sytem seems realistic enough for my taste.Thank you all for your proposition.
May 7, 201016 yr Commercial Member Why is that so difficult to understand? You can't expect everyone to think exactly like you do.You can't go wrong with the J41. I flew it quite a bit on 1000 mile flights. The engine whine was great but made my ears ring. These days I'm going stag with the Epic Victory. The paints are great and I tweaked the air file to calm down some what I perceived as quirks.Really though it handles like an RC plane when landing but being all carbon fibre maybe it is pretty close to the real flight model. It has the best Garmin 1000 that I've seen and they are all a matter of personal taste IMHO.jja Jim Allen[email protected]SkyPilot Software home of FSXAssist / P3DAssist

May 8, 201016 yr HelloI'm looking to buy a regional jet or maybe a bizjet and was wondering which one you will recomand.I am looking for a quality payware with great VC (actual standard, like PMDG J41 or real Air Duke, not 2 or 3 year old standard) and the more realistic system the better. Thanks in advance for any suggestion. The FeelThere ERJ135/145 V2 is a great plane, except the cockpit lighting sucks wind. They don't give a hoot since not everyone cares, apparently. THis issue for be becomes nasty in sunrise and sunset conditions, where you cannot turn on any cockpit lighting whatsoever, then when it gets good n dark outside, the whole VC lights up green. It's ok then, but I'm fond of flying sunrise and sunset, so this is why it bothers me, plus the green is not my cup o tea. Otherwise, it is a masterful product. There's is a certain loading ritual you are asked to follow if you wish to get gauge lighting to work (ie, versus using the LIGHT SWITCH to turn off and on gauge lighting), but I don't wish to go thru that, plus it's incomplete gauge lighting anyway.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. Kind of annoying but possibly realistic. I'm still trying to get used to the switches that do different things depending on daylight. The J41 has very good lighting.jja Jim Allen[email protected]SkyPilot Software home of FSXAssist / P3DAssist
May 8, 201016 yr Still trolling?Where do you draw the line between troll and truth? Because he is speaking truth. Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
May 8, 201016 yr The FeelThere ERJ135/145 V2 is a great plane, except the cockpit lighting sucks wind. They don't give a hoot since not everyone cares, apparently. This is textbook/classic Wilco/feelThere. I've been a reluctant and yet perpetual customer as far back as they go and it's always heartbreak with them. Their products are always so close, yet so far away. It will always be little things with them, not the least of which is their broken passive-aggressive relationship with Wilco. I realize that ERJ v2 is their product, but I've seen them do "their" product before, and the problems persist. The worst part about Wilco/FT is their very bizarre attitude towards customers and fixes and their even stranger demeanor on their forums to customers with problems. In any case, I will tell you that, large-warts-on-the-tip-of-its-nose not-withstanding, the ERJ v2 has its charms. Just don't fly after dark (cockpit lighting), don't expect well-behaved exterior lighting (a disco-light show worthy of the Bee Gees), don't expect to avoid a very annoying and loud fan/pump noise in the cockpit when the fuel pumps are on, etc. etc. etc.The truth is, Wilco/FT are the only game in town in the RJ class (sorry, the Mustang and the Citation aren't RJs). I thought the DigitalAviation CRJ-700 was going to save us, but they've bellied up (we'll see if Aerosoft will see that project to completion). Basically, in terms of top-quality stuff, we're bottom heavy (lotsa GA and military stuff that is amazing) and top heavy (PMDG and (maybe still) LevelD with their heavy long-haulers), with nothing in the middle (honorable mention for the Coolsky MD-80, but it needs some updating and needs for some of its systems to actually have an impact on operations). So, after all of my griping, and despite my better judgment (I think this is among the measures of insanity), I recommend the Wilco/FT ERJ v2 or the Wilco/FT E-jets*.*-sorry Scoob, FT will need to show more detachment than this ERJ v2 project to wash the taste of Wilco/FT out of my mouth. Hey, I did just recommend your product, warts and all. :-) Jeff Bea I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.
May 8, 201016 yr HelloI have the 145 and like it very much but I cannot believe that Feelthere have never responded to the criticism of the VC lightingThis is pretty much the only complaint of this Addon that you read about whatever forum you visit. The FS9 version has much nicer VC lighting, it must be an easy thing to fix but they stubbornly refuse to address the issue. When the 145 was released I asked Vic about removing the yokes from the VC and to their credit the SP addressed this. The lighting would have probably taken less effort but despite many owners asking Feelthere will not fix it.This must have cost them sales , probably cost them any more from me in the future.
May 8, 201016 yr This is textbook/classic Wilco/feelThere. The worst part about Wilco/FT is their very bizarre attitude towards customers and fixes and their even stranger demeanor on their forums to customers with problems. So true, they have an customer service attitude that definitely thwarts loyalty in their potential consumer base, which seems antithetical to any sane business practice, for there own good that is. The only real thing they care about is:1. Whether or not you sign your posts.2. Above all else, thou shalt not mention other company's products by name.Sionara, FeelThere! Is it possible that you are perhaps confusing FT releases with FT/Wilco releases? On a side note, regarding your two points above.1. FT is not the only group that requires you to sign your posts in their forum. 2. One company not wanting you to discuss another company's product in their forum? Seems like a pretty "sane" business practice. Do me a favor, head over to PMDG or ESDG (picking just two random groups off the top of my head) and start "discussing" another development group's product, then report back here your findings. :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

I am not the only user who finds this poorly done, and rather than listen and be at least a little responsive, the best the comes is: sign your post, don't talk about other products. I rest my case.
