June 30, 201015 yr Cannot keep the secret LOL or let's better say - cannot keep quiet. Got their newsletter today that from 15:00 01JUL2010 to 14:59 02JUL2010(UTC) everything will be Euro 9.99. Love these crazy sales CS have! Regards,Stan
June 30, 201015 yr Moderator I took advantage of this sale the last time they had it and bought the C-130 and all the 727 models.I would probably take advanage of it again this time if their F-104 was out. Guess I will have to wait a bit longer. Thanks for the heads up. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
June 30, 201015 yr So for example, all three C130 packs together will be 10 Euros, or will they be 10 Euros each?
June 30, 201015 yr So for example, all three C130 packs together will be 10 Euros, or will they be 10 Euros each?Buy the All in one pack and you get all 3 for 9.99 euros. That's what I did last year. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d

That's what I did last year.Yeah that's what I did also, but I had to buy all of the 727 models seperately, but it was still a good deal. I enjoy both the C-130 and 727, they both fly good and perform well as far as FPS go, but I dont fly either very much. I will buy the F-104 though when it comes out since I enjoyed it in FSX. (especially the 757 and 767).Considering a,b,c above.. should I buy them or not ?All opinions appreciatedVic

I wouldn't be put off too much about the negativity you heard about both planes since I heard the same about the 727 and with all the patches installed it works fine for me.However, like you, I already own the LDS 767 and find that I dont need another one since the LDS bird works great and is easy on FPS. On the 757, I probably wont get either the CaptSim or LDS when it comes out, just because it is so similar to the 767, but if I was going to get one, I would probably wait for the LDS version. That being said, the good thing is the CaptSim 757 will only cost you about $15 USD, so if you dont like it, it wont be like you wasted too much money, plus you can use it until the LDS version comes out, however long that will be. June 30, 201015 yr I want the 767 but, Does it have VNAV + LNAV + FLCH etc...can I do holding patterns in the FMS, what about TCAS and just realsim in General, I want something that isn't necessarily PMDG or LDS Quality because I know itisn't that good, but something a lot better then Wilco.Ron Hamilton
June 30, 201015 yr Author Ron, I love both 757 and 767 and find them to be as real as it gets. Tim wrote great review here at AVSIM.Vic, I would not hold breath about LDS 757, does not look like it will be released in the nearest time. Meanwhile you may try CS variant and who knows - may be you will not need to wait for LDS. Regards,Stan

TCAS also works well. It also has a weather radar. Autoland on both is ok, except it tends to flare late, resulting in a harder touchdown, you can just nudge back on the stick slightly though, and it will make a good landing. The 767 has an additional problem on landing causing the aircraft to rock back and forth on landing. The 757 does not have this problem. The 767 ground handling though is better than the 757. I wouldn't pay full price for these now, but at $15 dollars, it's a steal. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
