July 8, 201015 yr I would like to get something for cabin callouts, etc. I did have Flight Deck Panel once, and i dont wanna install it again to EVERY aircraft.FSPassengers cost too much...but i see that XPAX is cheaper. Is XPAX just as good as FSPassengers? :(
July 8, 201015 yr I don't know the answer to your question, but FSPassenger is not all that great, I am sure there are many products out there that're cheaper and offer almost the same.
July 8, 201015 yr Have to disagree with Hirgab.FS Passengers (FSPAX) is one of the best addons for FSX, especially if you like the big jets.Search here for some of the details, but frankly comparing it to XPAX is like comparing the PMDG 747 to the default FSX 747. The difference is night and day.If you want every flight monitored for passenger comfort, landing/takeoff smoothness, with special effects like flap breakage if you deploy too quickly, tyre explosions if you land too hard, with business models that let your company expand and buy new planes, or simply concentrate on a pilot career, with in-flight movies/music/food/drink to manage, crew announcements etc... well , you get the idea. I'd guess that XPAX has about 20% of what FSPAX offers.I've seen very few negative reviews of FSPAX - to the point I have to ask Hirgab whether he's seriously used it at all. I'd be surprised if he had, given the dismissive tone of his post. Paul Skol

I DO have enough money for it...and my mom hasnt let me get it yet...I have some questions, Paul....1. Can you get a refund for it if you dont like it/doesnt work?2. Do the cabin announcements work automatically when you start flight?3. Overall is it a good use of money to spend? 4. Will it work with all types of aircraft?5. Do you have to install it onto aircrafts or no?6. It should work through out full flight...yes? Thanks. I hope these questions will direct me to the desicion of buying, FSPassengers. :)
July 9, 201015 yr Hi,Some like X Pax, some like FSP.X Pax is on sale right now.Yes to all your questions, but #5 which is no.

July 9, 201015 yr I dont think you can do anything with the demo. I know i couldnt get it to do anything for the demo. =/ Dont know if its good or not, but theres a demo at their site, try it and decide.
July 9, 201015 yr Hi,I have to disagree with Hirgab as well. I spend 99.9% of my flight sim time in Level-D's 767 using FS Passengers with custom announcements, its a great addon. As a side note, I also purchased XPax and I've since removed it from my system in favor of FS Passengers. As a matter of fact I'm running a flight right now from KATL to TBPB and have FS Passengers running in the background. July 9, 201015 yr I use FS Passengers for a long time and rarely fly without it. For me it's one of the must-haves. You can try demo, it works but you have to start at KSFO (that's the limitation of the demo). Hirgab, did you use this addon or you just heard about it? There is also FS Captain but it's different than FSP. I don't know much about it, maybe somebody else does. Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

I don't see it for sale at Flight 1, who do a money-back guarantee. Most software sellers won't do a refund just because you don't like. Some people have complained it causes FPS loss, but it's never been an issue for me2 yes, though you can e.g. choose to tell the crew when to play a movie, or serve drinks - or you can have that automatic3 I think so4 Yes - you will find e.g. that there is no crew on the small planes, as you'd expect, but it's customisable plenty. And you can download free "seating plans" for popular addons 5 No, apart from what I mentioned at 4, and it's easy, and up to you6 Yes. But most of the action is takeoff/landing, as you'd expect. It's funny to hear the pax scream if you hit turbulence! And I didn't mean to dis the XPAX product, I've not used it, but Hifi Sim seem to be a professional, respected crowd. Rush to defend one thing, and it looks like I'm having a go at another. Not intended. Paul Skol
July 9, 201015 yr So im trying to demo and its REALLY cool.I have one final question....In order to make it work for the complete version (not the demo)....Do i need a Jetway for passengers to come aboard? Im on the demo and i cannot get the jetway to come...thus cannot get passengers aboard my aircraft. Thanks alot for all your suggestions. Im happy to say that i will be buying FS Passengers...as long as it doesnt need a jetway to work. :( Not sure if Jim was intending to answer these for Xpax or FSPassengers, but for Fs Passengers, then:1 I doubt it - try the demo first, to see if it runs ok on your pc. July 10, 201015 yr I love FS Pax and it is the ultimate in realism for me because having the passengers gasp and scream when something goes untoward is exactly what would happen if I ever flew a real plane! :(
